In perusing older threads, I see that several of you purchase from Shop LC. Will you tell me a bit about it? For example, do they ever offer free shipping? Any problems with tracking orders? Is their shipping speed similar to QVC and HSN? Anything else I need to know?

What are some of your favorite beauty products? TIA!

@Ainhisg - I placed my first order with ShopLC last March, to purchase the Lab Direct Power Punch Serum, based on the recommendation of @SilleeMee. This stuff is dirt cheap even when it isn't on sale (2 oz./$9.99) and has the most effective and stable form of Vitamin C. I've been using it ever since last spring and have stocked up when they have sales so I'd never be without. I started sharing with my daughter, too. I also purchased the Lab Direct Booster Collagen Peptides Serum in November, but haven't tried it yet.

ShopLC does offer free shipping on a minimum purchase ($40, I think) and sometimes there are discount codes. They ship with DHL. My ordered have usually shipped within two days of me placing the order, but delivery doesn't happen for about a week after that. Tracking info is provided.

They do not accept returns if the product was open. I would make sure you know and already like the product.

@JeanLouiseFinch I see where they have free shipping if the order is $50+. Do they ever have a day of free shipping like QVC or HSN? Thank you for pointing out that the Power Punch Vitamin C serum is 2 oz. on Shop LC. I bought this from Amazon for $9.99 for 1 oz. not realizing that it is double the size on Shop LC. I have thrown away my box, but do you know how long the Vitamin C is good unopened/opened?

I will have to check out the collagen serum. Now that I know that the sizes can differ, I see that the collagen serum is 2 oz. on Shop LC, but like the Vitamin C serum, only 1 oz. on Amazon. Very thankful you pointed that out!

Sounds like the shipping is similar to the other shopping channels.

On Fridays it's free shipping on their app. Also, on-air items have reduced shipping if you order items being shown on-air and not after. In other words, you have to be watching the live shows on Friday for that. Tuesdays they also have reduced shipping and free shipping for on-air live show items only. Sometimes they offer a $29 cap for shipping which means once your shipping charges go to $29, your pay the $29 and everything for the rest of the day ships free.

I also ordered several Lab Direct items when they had free shipping for Black Friday, everything was fine, great discount, but I did find their shipping was very slow, but in the long run, that was not really a problem.

@SilleeMee I have to admit that I laughed at your comment as I had read your paragraph several times. So...on Fridays and Tuesdays, I have to order during a live show to get either the free shipping or reduced shipping--whatever they're offering, right? Or is it Friday always has free shipping on the app no matter when you order? Or Friday free shipping only while the show is going on? And only on the app?

I've been a ShopLC customer for about TEN years. Things sell out fast and prices go up and down all the time. If you see something you want, don't wait even if you have to pay shipping. Chances are that the next time you see it the price will be higher if it will be there at all. When you see something you want and it's on sale then buy more than one.

So I just took a look at the Lab Direct Vitamin C on the Shop LC website. Its $9.99 for 2 oz and there is a banner on top that says FREE SHIPPING ON EVERYTHING. So there are times that it goes below $9.99? That is an insane price. Its also the same form of Vit C as the Sunday RIley CEO...

They have an extra 25% off Valentine's Day coupon on their website. It is applicable to vitamin C serum. Can't get better.

I bought my first bottle of The Lab Direct Power Punch VC Serum in May of 2023. I have since purchased more and I keep a backup supply of them in my fridge. Shelf life is a 2 years which is a long time for any VC product.

Some of you may know that I used to formulate my own VC serums but now since I found The Lab VC serum, I quit making my own. It's really good stuff and it's a big bottle, too, 2 ounces.

@SilleeMee - Like you I have stockpiled a few bottles of the Vitamin C. I have them on a shelf in my closet. Didn't realize that they needed to be refrigerated. Is it necessary to do that or are you doing it just because? Either way is fine, just want to make sure that if I need to refrigerate them, that I do so.

No, it's not necessary to refrigerate the serums but I do b/c I have 10 bottles of the VC and another 10 bottles of another (collagen booster) serum. Keeping stuff chilled will help preserve potency with most any kind of active skincare product.

@SilleeMee So, if you use the app, you can't use any of the rebate sites? I've never ordered using an app due to that, but would only do it on my home network.
