If you want something basic without a lot of actives, try Gold Bond Pure Moisture.

I'll be interested in everyone's opinions on this.... Normally I don't have much of a skin issue at all but this winter for some reason my skin has been overly dry, more than any other time I can think of. Especially my face and hands. I like using Josie Maran's Get Even Sun Milk moisturizer with SPF on my face and never had it not work well unitl recently. I also use my Beekman products and love them too but this is not a normal winter for me, seems odd.

I like the GB Pure Moisture Lotion also. Has no petro ingredients in case you were wondering. It's top rated everywhere it's sold and it's dirt cheap. Try it, won't break the bank.

Vanicream moisturizer is what I have used. It's around 13.00 at Walmart. I also like the Gold Bond too. With the dry air in the house I've been using Aquafor to seal the moisturizer.

I too like Gold Bond pure moisture and Vanicream facial moisturizer. I am currently using Vanicream. CeraVe PM is another one I like.

CeraVe Hydrating Oil (that's sort of the name) followed with CeraVe PM. I love the hydrating oil and it doesn't take much. The CeraVe PM is a bit thicker so it works great with the oil. My skin is really dry and this combo at night has really helped. I also really like Clinique PM Moisture Surge. The Clinique Moisture Surge line is excellent.

@WI CUSTOMER - If you don't mind the price look at Beekman A602441.

My skin is not that dry, so I don't need a moisturizer a lot. I wear one in the morning under my makeup. I have one by Beekman that has been discontinued. The reason I mentioned them is everything from them I've used on my face has made my skin so extremely smooth.

Right now I'm happy with Josie Maran's Milk. Argan oil is a little much for me, but I like the Milk!

Trilipiderm. Made in Jackson, Wyoming where winter is very harsh. Have used All Body Moisture Rentention Cream as well as the SPF 30 version. Uses natural, plant-derived ingredients.

I've been using Cerave AM Daytime and PM Nighttime moisturizer. They come as a 2 pack for about $20. They're not greasy and absorb quickly leaving a beautiful soft finish on your face. I bought mine on Amazon but they can be found in most pharmacies or stores that sell beauty products.

CeraVe. I use the AM & PM everyday and sometimes Skin Renewing Night Cream. Highly recommend.

I live in very cold, dry Colorado and La Roche Posay works great. I have sensitive skin and have had no problems.

their Bloom Cream is very good, which i use in the moring. i do add their daytime serums to it.

both lasts a long time and sometimes better pricing at HSN. watch for sales! get on AD if u can. and if price goes down with on AD, just call for price adjustment.

no nasties like vaseline etc... PETA approved.

go for 'clean beauty'. much better for your skin!!

@WI CUSTOMER ... I have combination skin. My cheeks are very dry in the winter. I love CeraVe moisturizing CREAM in the white and blue jar. It's thicker than the moisturizing lotion. Just rub it in my cheeks and they're very soft! I use day and night and use under makeup when going to run errands, etc. Use it on my hands too. Aaaah!!
