L’Oréal Elvive Volume filler shampoo

I can't say enough great things about L'Oréal Elvive Volume filler thickening shampoo and also the conditioner. They are in a light purple bottle....after I use them and dry my hair, I look like I have twice as much hair. My hair has always been fine and thin, but is now thinning due to age and these really make the difference for me. Try them and I know you will be thrilled with the results. Even after sleeping, my hair isn't flat the next morning!

It contains lots of sulfates, I try to avoid that. I have read that sulfates are not good for thinning hair.

I like that shampoo and conditioner too. Also the Full & Plush line from Garnier.

Personally I’ve never found the campaigning against sulfates to be true. The way they do those “tests” aren't the way finished products with the ingredient are used anyways. Although I did go through a sulfate free phase when the anti-sulfate, anti-silicone marketing first started, and it the worst my hair ever was. Going back to things like this has made my hair so much better.

I would love to try this - what color is the shampoo itself?

Only asking because I have highlighted color treated hair.

I use sulfate free shampoo and conditioners, but if I want to add extra volume for an outing, my go-to is the Elvive thickening shampoo and conditioner.

I agree with @Trailrun23. It gives me the look of twice as much hair. Hope they don't discontinue it, at some point. That always happens when you find something you really like these days.

FYI, on sale now at Walgreens online for 5.49 and there is a 1.50 coupon available on their website, not sure if prices same in stores. Same price and coupon for the conditioner
