BEST hair color I've ever used!

I've been coloring my hair since I was 16. I'm a natural blonde, but I've always used L'oreal Superior Preference and I've been very happy with it. I've used 9 Natural Blonde or 9.5 Lightest Natural Blonde. I've had some white growing in for several years and it does NOT cover the white.

So I tried AGEbeautiful 9N, light blonde, but it turned my hair DARK blonde. So a couple weeks later I tried AGEbeautiful 10N, Very light blonde, and it turned out GREAT, a much lighter blonde. I didn't remove the 9N first, just shampooed with the 10N. VERY pleased with the results! It looks very natural.

I've never used a golden or an ash color because, on me, the Natural looks very... well... natural. It's a permanent color and the white will start growing in again as my hair grows; so I'll use the 10N again to touch up the regrowth. I'll use a brush designed for that purpose.

From reading the ingredients, It looks to be much healthier than my previous color did. I'm SO pleased that I wanted to pass this along. ❤

The N does not refer to Natural, it's Neutral. Neutral is what is needed for the grey coverage. I color red, but since I'm almost completely grey I need at least 50% of my root formulation to be a Neutral. I use a mixture of 5NN & 6NN. Since my greys are covered for my length, I don't need the Neutrals for that. The double N's just means it's better for more resistant greys.

I think I'm going back to the salon.

During Covid I was buying Redken Cover Fusion. Could never get the color right. I tried toner, glossing. While I'm dark blonde and maybe 20% gray, it always turns red.

Tried a few boxes of Madison Reed, less red but still red. 😟

I'm done cheapin' around.

I was using the age beautiful but then after a year or so it was fading after two weeks. So I’m off to try garner, wells charm, and some other brand and see how it goes.

I like Naturtints, I mix 40 ml of 6 Chocolate Brown with 6N Light Brown.

@Icegoddess I hope I've said this before but in case I haven't: Thank you. I have benefited so much from your knowledge regarding hair color - especially the threads and pictures during covid.
