Well based on a discussion here yesterday I ordered Laura Geller's Serum Blush Tint liquid blush. I have used powder blush my entire life, and always apply after my Laura Geller Balance and Brighten.

So when do I apply a liquid blush? My usual routine is to moisturize first, then apply Elta MD UV Clear as my sunscreen. Then a little bit of coverup on the cheeks to blend in the rosacea, and finally the B&B. Where does liquid blush fit in?

I've never seen them applied any differently than powder blush. Just needs to be blended well.

I would think the blush would go on the top of all the other layers otherwise it would get covered up.

IMO ... Depends if your foundation is liquid or powder.

If your foundation if liquid, the cream blush goes on last, before setting everything with a translucent powder or whatever sets your liquid makeup.

If the foundation is powder, such as Bare Minerals, the blush goes on last, but probably won't be set, so careful blending is even more important here.

I've never used a cream blush with a powder foundation but when presenting it, Laura shows it going on top of the Balance n Brighten. Be careful and use a patting motion when applying or it may remove the powder foundation.

Hi @shoesnbags

I apply creme blush first, (after Foundation), & enhance with powder blush over. The reason why I apply creme blush first, is because powder blush alone, doesnt stay on my cheeks without a base of cream blush.

Good luck!
