I bought a duo when they first launched. They are creamy but they smear all over the place, even with lip liner. I only wear them around the house. I wouldn't wear them out & about since they stray instead of stay.

Makeup pencil sharpeners have a LARGE slot, and YES you can sharpen the plastic pencils. Put them in the freezer for a couple minutes beforehand.

I bought a set a year ago. They do not have any lasting power. However they are very pretty, creamy and moisturizing. I use them as my middle of the day pick me up to get through those last couple hours of the workday amd carry them in my purse for a quick fix but they are not lipsticks. They wear off after an hour or so.

I bought a set last year.

The first problem for me was that the colors were completely different than what was claimed/shown on tv. I wasn't the only one to think that either. Many of the reviews said the same thing.

The other problem is that they were exceptionally slick. There was no staying power to them at all. The color was gone in minutes.

Some people do love them though. They just weren't for me.

But these are an automatic, twist up style. Rolling out the chilled bullet for sharpening suggests a few drawbacks, or inherent risks, like the bullet breaking off, wasting product, possibly damaging the barrel.

I think the way the user applies the product, using the side rather than pressing the tip to the lips, will keep the tip more pointed than flattened. However, given the design it will never be a fine point. Still it's possible to maintain a point. I've been able to with my lip crayons.
