Hi ladies...I'm wondering if any of you using the new Tarte foundation have dry skin? I have dry skin and have tried the foundation a couple times now, and I'm not that impressed. I use a good moisturizer and Smashbox primer before applying. Then, I dot the foundation around my face and buff it in with the brush. I'm left with a slightly dry, cakey look that draws attention to my pores.

I really want to like the Tarte foundation, so I'm open to any suggestions. So far, I much prefer the L'Oreal Magic Smooth Souffle foundation that I've been using for the past few weeks. It gives me more of a smooth, flawless look.

Other thoughts on the Tarte TSV...too much glitter in the gloss for me...the blush is very much like NARS "O" which I already have...the mascara flaked on me today and is also somewhat drying...the liner is great, stays all day and is a beautiful color...the eyeshadows are also wonderful. Hmmm...I guess I'm on the fence on this one. Everyone is different, right?
