Violet or Lilac Scents - Recommendations

I love the scents of violet and lilac in nature - 2 of my very favorite smells!

In perfumes or colognes, I cannot stand strong fragrances as they give me headaches.

I would like to try either a violet or lilac scent -- probably a cologne, as this would be lighter and also cheaper. Also, a spray would be my preference.

Which scent do you think would be lighter --- violet or lilac?

Also, can anyone make any specific recommendations as to a certain brand?

I get e-mails from fragrancedotnet and they sometimes have deals on different ones but I would have no idea which ones would be better to try.

I have some suggestions!

My favorite lavender scent is available on ETSY... "Sleeping Dragons" is the name of the company. It is their essential oil.

I can only tolerate essential oil fragrances.
When I walk thru a department store, I cannot get out of the fragrance department quickly enough!

I have and enjoy wearing Wen's Spring Honey Lilac edp and body creme.

This is a fresh authentic Lilac fragrance with an ozonic note that I find pleasing...you know that fresh, clean distinctive after a good rain smell. That's it and it works well in this fresh green Lilac floral. You can purchase a 10ml purse size traveler. Look for this on chazdean dot com.

inexpensive. Sold on Amazon. Smells like lilacs. Poor longevity.

If it's the Wen edp you are inquiring about, yes, excellent longevity from my recollection wearing this scent. I am currently out of town, and would otherwise give it another test drive for you.

In my opinion, the best lilac fragrance is Highland Lilac Perfume. It's made with Rochester, New York's famous lilacs. It has won numerous awards and is absolutely delightful. You can purchase it from Vermont Country Store.

I purchase Highland Lilac fragrance spray and body lotion from

The Spring Honey Lilac truly is a great fragrance and you'd surely love the edp as well.

Personally, I really like so, so many of the Wen scents. Whether it's the hair care and the ancillary products, body care(luv!!!!!) Edp's or the candles. Big, no, huge fan of many offered. I have been especially pleased with the Parfums, which I've varied seasonally. I've mixed and matched and will always have 613 (vanilla, rosemary, lemon) and 316 (Unscented, with a clean neutral and natural aroma) in my possession as well. I've worn Wen edp's for years now and definitely have received some nice compliments.

Watch for sales on the site and treat yourself! Do you like and use any other product/scent besides the Lilac rtm?

Thank you for your suggestion but I don't really care for lavender. Yes, I agree with you --- I get easily overcome with scent so I have to be careful. Otherwise, I'm in for a sick stomach and a migraine!
