@monicakm - Another thing I do with some cologne or parfum: I used to work with someone who was very sensitive to fragrance. We weren't in the same office, but I didn't want to make her uncomfortable when we were together. Rather than wear no fragrance at all, I wore a very light fragrance and sprayed it on the backs of my knees. I checked with her, and she was fine with it. But if someone got really close to me they could smell it.

I'm around a lot of people on Sundays. I've started spraying my fragrance on the back of my neck. It doesn't overwhelm anyone, but if I hug anyone who's female they might notice it and comment. I've never received a negative comment. I asked someone I trust if it's too much, and she said definitely not.

I also use seasonal Wen. People have asked me what shampoo I use because it smells good!

Ideas On How to Decrease Perfume Intensity?

Wearing less doesn't work in this situation. I've worn Commodity fragrances for years. Way before they came out with their various strengths. I was familiar with the Milk fragrance. When they introduced the new "spaces" idea, I bought a 3.4oz bottle of Milk+. Mistake! It never dries down. It has an alcohol (just applied) smell for as long as it stays on the skin..a LONG time. I tried rubbing water on top. That didn't help nearly enough (if any). The bottle is still full and I don't want to waste it but if I can't figure out a way to lower the intensity and lose the alcohol smell, I can't feel comfortable in it.

Thanks
