New bronzer

I had a coupon from Sephora that was good for 15% off with any bronzer, blush or highlighter order.

I ordered the mini Tarte Amazonian clay bronzer in color Park Avenue Princess (a gold bronze.) Tarte was given many positive reviews, so I decided on that brand. My Physicans Formula bronzer is several years old, and though still seems OK, will eventually need to be replaced. I should receive the bronzer early next week.

Judging by the colors it seems more like a blush color. It is very pretty. Enjoy and let us know how it turns out.

I found a picture of this particular pictured bronzer on a site called bellabellabella in an article from 2014. It's labeled Tarte Amazonian Clay Bronzer Blush in Pink Bronze. Being that old, it may no longer be available.

I have never understood products that are a mixture of different colors. Laura Gellar does a lot of them. One like this, I guess you could use the individual colors, but it would have to be with a smaller brust to just pick up that color. But, what's the purpose if you're supposed to swirl it all together. Why not just give the color you would get from swirling them all together?

It's on Sephora website. Tarte Amazonian clay matte waterproof bronzer, the mini size. It's only one color. I got an email saying the item was already shipped.

I'm not sure what waterproof is suppose to do, but that is part of the description.

I understand what you mean about the separate colors and about swirling them all together to just get one total color to use, and why not just do that?

I think that the individual colors are put in these bronzers like this so that it's just like you think--so that you can take a smaller brush and then use each color individually if you want to do that.

Some like to use bronzers for contouring and also for highlighting and as eyeshadows, and with the pretty lighter colors in some of these browser compacts, you could probably do these different things with these colors.

When you swirl them, you get a color to use as a bronzer, so I think that you're kind of getting a multi-use product with some of these bronzer compacts.

I love multiple colors in a bronzer, each color does something different. I have Guerlain multi pearls which I really like, but can be a pain swirling with the pearls around. I found a few on Ebay in the pink and rose. The rose looks a little darker and at a great price.

Looks nice but I prefer a matte bronzer. That Tarte looks like it might give an illuminated glow. I don't want that. Luminizing products put emphasis on texture and lines...even if you don't have any.

@monicakm may be, but I don't buy multi-colored products like that for the reasons I stated above. They just don't make sense to me.

@monicakm That's the same bronzer I bought, though mine is a mini size. It looks more pink in the photo. In reality it's a light gold bronze color, at least my item is.

I have worn it several days, and like it. The tone is subtle on me, gives just a hint of color, not dark at all. I wouldn't want anything too heavy and this works well for me. Let us know how you like it.
