@KristaMirt IMO, they are not natural looking, drawn on and too perfect. They are usually done with a brow promade.

I like a more natural brow that's has a pencil to fill in gaps, a powder to darken and "color" the skin underneath to form a shadow under the brow hair and seal with with a lightweight brow gel.

You need to do what you like, but that's how I do anatural brow

Ombre brows are the same thing as Instagram brows. They're overdone on purpose to make them stand out in photos as is the rest of Instagram makeup goes. Exaggerated beyond natural-looking.

@monicakm Well if this description is ombre brows I do this sometimes but not all the time I apply help with my brows. Who knew??!!

Prior to doing my brows, I guess I can say mine are ombre before I even begin - mine is called grey hairs in brown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm trying to spend money on brow enhancements. I adore my brow hair. My brows grow well on their own accord. It must be formed, though. I thought about investing in microblading or ombre brows because I'm sick of having them waxed. These brows always appear prepared and perfect. And I read many topics about ombre brow and I find the best article on google that is:

From what I see on TV the heavy squared off look is dying. Some women are appearing to have bleached their brows they are so light. No, not white, but a pale natural look. All those people that went for tattooing are going to be sorry.

Good morning @SurferWife . I like to begin with Benefit Brow Gel or the newer one that's called "fluff up something". Then I can see where the few bare spots are hiding.

When RMS was on, I purchased her brow pencil and powder w/ brush. For an every day natural look just powder over the gel. When I brows more precise and finished looking...that's when I go in with pencil first. after the gel.

@depglass IMHO, brows should be the color of your roots or if blonde or grey, the shade of your childhood hair. My brows stayed medium brown when I went grey...a few white stragglers. Since brows frame the face and give it structure, I'm not fond of that bleached look.

@depglass @SurferWife The best and most natural looking brows are done with 2 shades of powder....many companies make this powder in a lighter/darker shade in one pot.

If you begin with the darker shade from the arch to tail and the lighter shade at the beginning of the brow (not squared off), you can get a defined but natural look. The powder should be on the skin not the brows to form a shadow under the hair.

@Shanus I have a DEEP scar thru one brow, and I don't add any product at all because I think it will call attention to it. di

@Desertdi If it bothers you, try wetting an angled brush into a powder shadow and apply AFTER the gel which will set the area. Sometimes, just leaving it alone and making it your "signature" is OK.
