Pink Concealer/Corrector

Last weekend I had my makeup done for a family wedding. The artist was busily working and sharing tips here and there. She talked about using either a pink corrector or pink concealer on my undereye area and close to the top of my cheekbone. I loved the finished look, but I have no idea what product she used or how she applied it.

The finish was soft and slightly luminous. My eyes and face looked wide awake.

Is anyone familiar with such a product?

There was recently a thread on such a product. The title was ANYONE USE ILLUMINATING PINK EYE MOISTURIZERS. Search that title and you should get some useful information.

I have used this in the pink and it works very well: It's Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles #160 (pink) It's less than $10 on Amazon.

@Quinny , I have many of concealers mentioned here, they all crease, yet they're pretty good for concealing.

I'm very pleased with Mac Prep n Prime in Radiant Rose. It can be used as a concealer and highlighter. I apply it over my eye moisturizer and it doesn't crease, all day.

It's a twist up tube with a little brush. Best ive used.

I think if your concealer is creasing then it needs some setting powder. Either that or some setting spray to keep it put and from migrating into lines.

It's been a while since I've checked in with this forum, I should have searched my topic before posting my question.

Why I love That Gal primer by Benefit. The slightly pink hue makes me look younger. I least I see that when I wear it.

@Quinny @Instead of running around trying out concealers, why not get her number and give her a call?

Don't worry, I'm not "running around trying out concealers."

I'm not quite as thick as I apparently seem. I called the makeup professional. She couldn't recall which product or combination of products she used to create the look.

I think if concealer is settling/creasing into fine lines, then you need to remove what has settled in the lines with either your finger or a q-tip and then set them with powder. If you set with powder before removing the excess concealer, you've just set the creasing concealer.
