The Ordinary Lash and Brow Serum

I have been using this for 2 months with absolutely no difference in my lashes and brows. It retails for $14.50 and that is one major reason I bought it because other products are very pricey. I guess you get what you pay for, I won't be repurchasing this. You might want to save your money on this.

I have seen a million videos on damage to the eyes from lash serums so I won't use them, but I have been using Grande Brow serum and am seeing results. It is a little pricier but I have been using my first tube for a couple of months and it is still going strong with daily use.

I didn't like TO's either. Look for the Vie Beaute Lash Serum on Amazon. It really works. Several members here use it.

@JeanLouiseFinch does the one you mention actually have the ingredient that makes lashes grow? I can't think of the name of it, but you or @SilleeMee might know.

VieBeauti Lash Serum contains polygonum multiflorum extract. As far as I know that herbal ingredient is associated with prolonging the growth phase of hair. Also included in the list of ingredients is panax ginseng root extract and that one is associated with vasodilation of blood vessels around what I assume to be the hair follicles.

@SilleeMee thank you! Did I read on another thread that you are using this serum, too? I get grande lash at my beautician's price so am paying $47 a tube, and it does work well. However, I am all about saving money if this works as well.

PS... I see that there is a gold tube and a purple tube. I'm assuming the purple tube is the one all of you are using?

Lash serums such as Rx Latisse and Careprost contain bimatoprost which is a prostaglandin analog. It also works by promoting the growth phase of hair but in a different way than other preparations. Bimatoprost comes with some concerning side-effects.

The purple and the gold contain identical ingredients. My thought about that is the purple tube is an older container. The gold one is the newer package.

Regarding the VieBeauti Lash Serum...

I'm just finishing up my second tube and the other day I had to trim my lashes b/c they were getting too long!...and not only that, they have gotten very thick where I can hardly see any blank spaces between each lash hair. That stuff really works. No doubt about that.

@Jordan2 I appreciate you raising this topic. I haven't used TO lash serum but I'm interested in the response to which have worked for different posters. TO does have some excellent products at reasonable prices, but not all products work for everyone even within one brand. (I just bought TO's caffeine serum yesterday.). I think I'll try the lash product recommended by @SilleeMee.. Good luck for long lashes to both of us! I appreciate your post.

@phoenixbrd I actually had a thread about this eye serum recommending it. After I used it all I moved on to something else ( I get tired of products and like to use different ones).
