Best full coverage foundation....

Really need full coverage to cover these pesky brown spots...Loved the original Clinique Repairwear but have not found a replacement. Suggestions appreciated.

Thanks for this! I loved Studio Fix years ago and got hooked on powder foundation, but am of the age where it just doesn't work for me anymore (ANY powder foundation -- my last shot at it was IT Celebration Foundation.) My wrinkles are just too deep. So I'm thrilled there seem to be a couple of creams from MAC that might do the job. If I can't have a powder, I'm happy with a cream, and thrilled I don't have to wear liquid. So I'm heading to the MAC counter tomorrow! Thanks again!

I use Boots No. 7 (get it at Target) and have both the Perfect and Protect and the Lift and Luminate foundations in Cool Beige. Perfect natural color for me, nice coverage and natural finish without looking too dewey.

For $14.99 I really like it but would like to try Laura Mercier that everyone raves about. (these forums make me spend money and have trouble being content! lol)

*I would recommend applying a coat of foundation and then using a concealer for areas that still show through.

Kat Von D's Lock-It Tattoo Foundation has some pretty amazing reviews. You can look on Sephora's site and on YouTube for demos. I actually tried it over the summer and liked it a lot. However, I have extremely sensitive skin and broke out from it.

Nars Sheer Glow... love! Excellent coverage w/very small amount, yet it looks and feels like you're wearing nothing. I recommend getting the pump, total cost $46 yet one bottle will last me a year++.

I have tried many high end foundations in search of full coverage. The best two, the ones I go back to again and again are Estee Lauder Double Wear(there is also EL Double Matte which works just as well if not better if you have oily skin or perspire much) and Lancome Teint Idole. I have tried many drugstore foundations but have never found one with acceptable coverage. Estee Lauder also makes one called Maximum Cover which will cover anything flawlessly but it is really heavy(has a mask-like effect) and I only use it when I need extra full coverage such as during bad breakouts.

Dermablend... great for covering dark spots! I also use it on upper eye lid and undereye as a concealer. However, since it is very heavy, it causes my face to break out in breakout-prone T zone areas. HTH

Kat Von D's Lock-It Tattoo Foundation has amazing coverage! I have mild rosacea and it covers the redness with one layer.

I've been using it for a few weeks now. Loving it thus far.

Guess I'm solo here, but I like IT CC foundation used with bye bye under eye concealer. I have spots that I'd love to get rid of....

You are much better off using a concealer that is your exact skin tone or even a bit darker first and then use your foundation. No reason to make your entire face look heavy. You might even want to experiment with blue or yellow or green concealer. e.l.f. has a 4 color compact, I think Physician's Formula does, too.

I know many recommended ELDW and at one time that was best on market but there are many more options today as technology has advanced. Several have already been mentioned. Some will not work with dry skin unless you heavily moisturize first.

I have some major dark spots that fade then get darker over and over again. I mainly use powder make up but Cover Girl has a three step foundation which is primer, foundation and concealer in one. If the dark spots pop through I have been using eyelid primer (Smashbox. Benefit and Laura Geller) to cover the spots and then dust setting powder on them. You can use concealer and the primer together as well.

For dress up days/nights I go high end with Georgio Armani. Worth the money because of how it covers and makes my skin look great. Just recently bought IT Cosmetics CC. Coverage is good and love that it is spf 50.

I really love bareMinerals original foundation. It doesn't feel greasy on my skin and you can build it to cover as much as you'd like. Use a concealer brush with it to cover spots.

I like Lancôme Renergie-I think that's how it's spelled. I'm quite dry though-it's intended for more mature skin-maybe you're not there yet- I have some rosacea going on and I get good coverage with it.
