Good morning! There has been so much chatter about different beauty shows and offerings that I expect a lot of us have quite a few things to report on this week. LOL

My list:

EM Cosmetics - They were having a 20% off sale last weekend with free shipping. There was one other eyeshadow palette I wanted so went ahead and ordered it. It was the Rodin palette. Haven't received it yet.

ColourPop - An eyeshadow palette - Feelin' Toasty. Haven't received it yet. This is a warm neutral palette.

KORRES - took advantage of the special price on the body butter and ordered Unscented, Pure Cotton, and Kumquat.

ULTA - a NYX retractable eye pencil in bronze, About Face lip liners in Midnight Seduction and Momentary Bliss, and ELF putty blush brush. I like bronze eyeliners so thought I would try NYX version since I'd heard good things about it. Heard about About Face lip liners from Mandy Lea on YT so thought I'd try them. The ELF blush brush was an add-on to make up enough for free shipping and it's awful. Will go in the trash. Luckily, it was very inexpensive.

The ColourPop palette is first and then the EM Cosmetics. Put them in the wrong order! Sorry!

My goodies for this week

HSN had a beauty sale last week, and I picked up a few new things.

LALICIOUS Travel Besties Sugar Scrub and Body Butter Set-I picked up two sets, Sugar Coconut, and Sugar Kiss. I have no idea how good they are, but the reviews were good, and they are cute little try-me sizes.

Beekman 1802 4-piece 2oz Goat Milk Whipped Body Cream Set-This was a new item, and I have never tried Beekman body creams. It came in four scents-Fig Leaf, Honey Grapefruit, Pure Goat Milk, and Fresh Air.

I didn't shop during the TSV Day, but these items were on sale, so I grabbed some Perlier.

Perlier Honey Sunflower Hand Cream BOGO-I am always on the hunt for a nice hand cream, and these sounded interesting and perfect for summer.

Perlier Shea Butter & Blood Orange Body Mousse-I thought this would be another pleasant scent for summer.

Perlier White Almond Body Cream with Oil Pink Pearls-The almond set I was looking at went back up in price. This sounded pretty and since I am bent on smelling like a fruit salad for summer, I figured this would be an excellent addition.

Nakery Beauty 3-piece Seaside Serenity Body Set-I can't seem to give up on Nakery for some odd reason. Her treatment products have not impressed me, but her bath products have been okay. I wanted to try the body oil, and this was the only scent I hadn't tried.

Poolside Pack-Ulta had this for half off for $15.00; it includes several brands I want to try. I have been traveling more and am working on building a travel selection, so this fits the bill.

This kit has arrived, and I am so happy with it. It was well worth the $15.00.

True Match Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer-I have wanted to try this after seeing it on TikTok, so I bought it.

Korres Elasti-Smooth in the following scents:

Grapefruit, Golden Passionfruit, Vanilla Blossom, Basil Mandarin, Blackberry Vanilla, and Coconut Guava.

The Amika products I ordered arrived, and I love the hair fragrance! My daughter said even commented on how nice it smelled. My free GWP was a pleasant surprise. They sent a full-sized dry shampoo, scalp cleansing oil, and generous sample sizes of the new Mirror Ball Shampoo and conditioner, which has gone viral on TikTok the last few weeks.

I never have a lot to report, however I did replenish a couple of things: Kaplan Diamond Contour moisturizer. I just like this a lot, and I don't want or need to look for anything less expensive.

Also, a fragrance that I like a lot (from fragrance) is Lanvin Jeanne.

Laura Geller's brow pencil....this is new. I know people have had trouble w/ sharpening, but I have a good sharpener. I'm just hoping it's a performer otherwise.

🌸 Good morning Beauties! 🌸

Wow, that week surely went by fast. We were gone for several days visiting family, attending a friend's celebration of life, and doing some fun stuff. got to see several friends through it all, and that's always a blessing. I had good intentions to get some things done when we returned, but I failed there. I was at the dentist yesterday for suture removal. Everything looks good and he's pleased. DH and I decided take a trip to Iowa next month. We'll be in LeMars for a couple of days and then meeting up with some friends in Cedar Falls. Our LeMars reservations are set but I still need to find a hotel in Cedar Falls. That's one of my jobs for today.

Here are my purchases for the week:

Czech Glass Nail File Kit - needed a replacement for one I bought a couple of months ago that turned out to be a dud.

Perlier Body Mousse (Blood Orange) - it was recommended here, aid it was on sale, so I decided to try it. It arrived yesterday and I'll be trying it shortly.

Korres Mega Tube Elasti-Smooth Body Butter (Pure Cotton, Gardenia, Vanilla Blossom, Wnite Blossom, Passionfruit, Jasmine) - once I started shopping, I got on a roll. LOL. At home, and sometimes out, I like scented body creams instead of cologne. These should last me a good long while.

Skinn Flawless Finish Compact - shopped my stash and found, umm, a few of these. This is the pressed version. It’s actually pretty nice.

@teganslaw - The brush head was really small and squished flat, didn't pick up much product, was a stipling brush, and, for me, kind of useless. Used my Sephora #56 brush. They really are the best, I think, for cream blush and bronzer.

Curiosity got the better of me so I ordered Lancer Instant Contour Facial Treatment. It just arrived so haven't tried it yet. If it relaxes my forehead at all, I will be pleased. If it also reduces my sweating (like Botox does) I will re-purchase. Anyway, thought I would try it before I go in for a Botox summer treatment.

JOAH Brow Fix Mascara. This is a repeat purchase. It works for me.

Wet n Wild Dual Ended Contour Stick in Light/Medium. I received an email from Victoria Beckham in which she went over contour techniques and it peaked my interest. Been thinking about using some contour on my nose so I looked for a less expensive alternative to try. This stick has contour shade on one end and a highlighter shade on the other end. It goes on smoothly and blends out well. It's a first time purchase.

That's it for me this week. Looking forward to reading about the other purchases.

It has been years since I bought any kind of puffy-eye serum. But just recently my new medication has caused me to get noticeable puffy eyes so I went looking...sort of. I say 'sort of' b/c in the past the ones I tried didn't do much or they left white residue. I wasn't too excited to look for another failure.

But!

I did find this puffy eye serum and it works! I did have to play around with a few different applications but it's the best one I've tried so far. No white residue and my under-eye area is smooth and firm w/o puffiness. Doin' the happy dance!

This one is from ShopLC, the same place where I bought my wonderful vitamin C serum. It's less than $9...!

I needed something for mattifying and I didn't want to use my powder foundation. All I need is it to be matte w/o coverage so I bought this from PUR Cosmetics. Contains skincare ingredients good for your skin (no drying talc). This has a lot of great reviews, too.
