I will keep all your suggestions, thanks again. The key for me is moisturization, my skin is really dry from diabetes.

I happened to see Dr. Oz this morning and this was advised for eczema. My son has developed an allergy to plastic or latex gloves. It was also suggested to use WARM showers and not hot to keep the oils in our skin. Since its gotten so cold here, the air is very dry and I'm getting itchy as well! Tia!

I use the tub because it is thicker and more moisturizing for me. The brand is more expensive, so I just get the tub. I will pop into the Dollar Tree and check out the Dermasil. It is just a dollar. I can keep it in my work bag and use it after I wash. I wash a great deal at work, so moisturizer is a must.
<h1 id="title" class="a-size-large a-spacing-none" style="box-sizing: border-box; padding: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; text-rendering: optimizelegibility; font-size: 21px; line-height: 1.3; font-weight: normal; color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0px !important;"> Eucerin Original Healing Soothing Repair Creme, 16-Ounce Jars (Pack of 2) is $24.95 with prime shipping on Amazon.</h1>

Another thought....Stress can trigger eczema. You may also want to skip a bath/shower and do it every other night unless you get dirty. Just to the office and back wouldn't get you really dirty. Our people haven't always bathed each day. A nice wipe down and a facial cloth would do until you get your eczema under control. Males can be different especially if they are teenagers....they seem to produce different oils and can smell very quickly, but young males are as apt. There is something about the teenage years that turn them all into a different species altogether.

emmiesmom, I can't address the allergy issue, but I, also, use Neosporin for Eczema--both the Moisturizer and the liquid soap for the bath. For me, the problem is that fragrance seems to bother my skin, although it took me a LONG time to figure that out. What doesn't have fragrance in it????

I found this description online:

This Daily Moisturizing Cream goes beyond ordinary daily lotions to relieve dryness, irritation, and i t c h due to eczema. NEOSPORIN® ECZEMA ESSENTIALS® Daily Moisturizing Cream is clinically shown to restore visibly healthier skin in just 3 days and is shown to be as effective as the leading prescription skin barrier emulsion in people with mild to moderate eczema with twice daily (or as-needed) use. It has also received the Seal of Acceptance from the National Eczema Association.

-Has a unique RELIPID™ formula, which contains a lipid, humectant, emollient and botanical blend
-Contains no antibiotics or steroids
-Goes on smooth, with a light, non-greasy feel
-Gentle enough for daily use
-Appropriate for use on the whole family
-Dermatologist tested

I purchased it at Walmart, but I have seen it at CVS, Walgreens, and Target.

Good Luck!

Another vote for the Neosporin.
