topic Badger Balm vs. O'Keefe's Working Hands in Beauty

I was researching O'Keefe's (all good reviews) and I happened upon reviews for Badger Balm (also all good). I was wondering if anyone here has tried them both.

From the description, the differences seem to be that OK is a harder substance that melts and absorbs as you rub it in. BB sounds softer and goes on greasy but quickly absorbs and leaves your skin not greasy. Also, OK has no scent but BB does. Sounds like BB may actually contains some healing ingredients (essential oils, etc) but OK is just chemicals.

I was all set to head over to Lowe's to buy OK but now I'm not sure. I'm getting this for my elderly father who has extremely dry, painful skin, not just on his hands. I'm thinking the BB might be easier for him to apply if he's putting it on his legs, etc. (and not just his hands).

Uh oh. I just looked at the BB website and I'm really afraid I may have found another company who's got some fantastic products! All the balms....so tempting (and soaps and oils, etc). I'd love to support a local Wisonsin company too. Another site to explore...yay!

If anyone knows this company, please share! I'm very intrigued.
