Suggestions for under eye moisturizer to use before concealer

Does anyone have anyone have any suggestions for an under eye moisturizer to use before applying concealer? I've used Bobbi Brown under eye cream for ages and was thinking of trying something new. Over 60 with some wrinkles. TY!

I like to first apply some hyaluronic acid serum. I think it makes a difference when you hydrate first and then moisturize. Then I moisturize with either Mad Hippie Eye Cream or Acure Radically Rejuvenating Eye Cream. I'm 65 and this works well for me.

I use the MD Complete Eye Wonder. It's from their Dermatologics Line. It's more expensive than their regular line but I think the results that you get are worth the higher price.

It is very thick though so you have to be careful to use only a tiny bit. If you apply too much it will not sink into your skin and will look very shiny.

I use Clinique smart clinical repair.

Its a wrinkle correcting eye cream.

I love the Tatcha serum stick, and their eye cream. I also use and recommend Josie Maran eye devotion.

I agree with @JeanLouiseFinch to use a Hyaluronic Acid Serum first, then moisturizer, then concealer.

I use Naturium's Hyaluronic Acid serum + Peptide Eye Cream. I do not have any pilling.

@kitty76 Unfortunately it is mostly trial & error to see what works for you.

I'm 62 & I need moisture around my eyes.

I have used all of the expensive creams & I have found 3 favorites.

Acure Radically Rejuvenating Eye Cream-Neither radical or rejuvenating but it is a great, moisturizing eye cream for about $15. It is a 1oz tube.

Trader Joe's Supreme Hydrating Eye Cream. It is only $7 for .53oz & it is wonderful.

Vichy Minéral 89 Eyes Hyaluronic Acid Eye Gel Cream is the most expensive at $24.99 but I get it when it is on sale.

I don't have a lot of wrinkles around my eyes. Either because I use these eye creams twice a day or just because I don't.

When I need an extra boost before concealer or later in the day to freshen up my eye are I use Velamo Advance Retinol Eye Stick. I get it on Amazon for about $20. I saw a youtube person use it before her concealer & it looked so nice & smooth I had to have it.

I am on my 3rd tube & my daughter ordered it after trying mine.

When I get to the end of the tube I scrape out the rest (there is a lot in there still).

Hello @kitty76 . I love Bobbi Brown's Hydrating Eye Cream. There's also one in the EXTRA line that's more emollient, but just a bit for day wear and I'd use it mostly at night.

I'm now using one by Kiehl's and have always added a tiny drop of oil before any eye cream to first prep the area.

@kitty76 ...personally I use and love Shiseido Benefiance eye cream...this one cream does it all. That said, I would try what @SurferWife surfer suggested...because I like a hyaluronic applied first. Hyaluronic is always a nice plumping prep., and our skin loves it. I have not tried Naturium eye cream, but, for price, and ingredients I'd surely give it a try. If you want to cut to the chase...order the Shiseido...apply over moist skin...its wonderful. Very rich. Macys often has it on sale, and tjMaxx has it at half price if you catch it while there.

@JeanLouiseFinch , you mentioned hyaluronic for under eyes...which do you use? I've used several different ones, Dr.Brenner, Timeless...I think I tried The Ordinary and if I remember right it was stringy, sticky.

Hi @Dazlin Currently, these are what I have. I really don't have a problem with puffiness, but I liked the ingredients in the Advance Clinicals so I thought I'd try it. I already had the SatinNaturel (Amazon) but one day I was at Marshall's or TJMaxx and the Advance Clinical was there and only like $5.00 so I bought it. It's also on Amazon, but around $10.00.

@JeanLouiseFinch ...thank you...I dont have puffiness either...I've become sunken (hate it) 😔. That's the only reason I try to plump that area...I dont have wrinkles either. Going to ask my derm about fillers in that area...I look exhausted. Cover ups, concealer hyaluronic, creams, gallon of water intake...no help.

I looked up diet too...greens with vitamin K...and the list goes on.

Will look into that Satin Natural . I always like a hyaluronic

I have used many, many undereye creams/oils/gels, and have some purchased but not used yet. I have NEVER used an eye cream like Tatcha Silk Peony. Wow. I have puffy eyes from lifelong nasal allergies and the sunken look from old age. Lucky me! But this stuff is magical. So light, but so effective.

Dusty , thank you for mentioning Trader Joe eye cream and Velamo eye stick. The eye stick is the best eye treatment I have used and I have used a ton.. The rep is also very attentive to the customer, checking up and available with tips and suggestions. Can't say I have seen vast improvement but no eye irritation, tearing or burning is great! Am still on my first tube but use it every night and can even use in the day but since its retinol don't. Like it so much I am going to check out the other eye stick, didn't look at it closely but may be one could use for day. At 83 what have I got to lose? Thanks again!

I recently got a deluxe sample of Clinique All About Eyes. Been using it and Loving it!
