It Cosmetics TSV.... Positive Reviews???

Ok... Help me. I just ordered this kit, but the reviews aren't so great. Are there any positive reviews out there. Have you tried it and love it? If you've tried it, does the foundation have metallic flecks or glitter in it? Some reviews say it does and others say there isn't any glitter in it. Also, any positives on the primer?

I did watch the positive youtube video that was recommended on these boards, but would love to hear more.

I'm close to cancelling, but want to hear some positive reviews first.

I agree! Now if only HSN's webbie would delete all the host-bashing threads on their board. They do lock them so no new comments can be added, but they leave them where you can still read them and surprisingly, it gets way worse over there, considering there are only about 10 people who post on HSN's boards. lol

Amen! Thanks for the review and for your support of those doing youtube reviews. I believe providing products for review is very good marketing. It's nice to be able to see the items demonstrated before they are shown on television. The demos and comments are much more informative and forthright than the on air presentations.

Regarding those who have said there is glitter in the foundation, it seems to me those people purposely post negative comments in order to discourage anyone from purchasing the products.

I'm beginning to think there are posters who only post to cause conflict and demean other posters. It's anonymous bullying. Sad.

Oh please. Just because you are seeking out "positive" reviews and you are not getting many, that does not mean people are PURPOSEFULLY leaving negative reviews to keep people from buying. Are you serious? This brand gets a LOT of love and attention on this board, but this serum/foundation just happens to be two new products that people aren't loving. SO WHAT?!!!

Furthermore, I could really care less who buys what. That has nothing to do with my opinions of the ingredients in this serum. I simply said it is terrible. But when someone comes on here and says that I, or others with the same opinion of it are "scaring" people away from buying it, that is just plain stupid and ridiculous, and I have every right to refute that. So relax on the overused term already..(bullying) Strong opinions are one thing, and bullying is quite another. Get a grip.

No I don't know who this girl is but I always research products before purchasing and that's how I came across her videos and she is not the only one I watch, I also watch curly wavy diane in case you are interested. All I do is type the name of the tsv I'm interested in on YouTube and they pop up. From watching their videos I know that they get products from this companies based on all their prior and current reviews. I wish I could get free stuff too but I am not going to be reviewing products on you tube in order to get the free stuff but I do appreciate watching demonstrations of products I want before they air.

You know I have been purchasing all beauty TSVs for the last 10 years, I have never missed any vendors tsv, I love beauty and skincare that much. My makep room looks like a vendor in Saks, seriously. I have been a counter manager for Clinique, Christion Dior and Prescriptives as well as been on the Sephora team. I buy from the Q because the tsvs are a great value. I always buy them on auto delivery and used to post reviews on this same forum but actually got tired of doing it because I was truly objective and could only write about my experience with the item, not if it had ingredients that were good or bad for you. I think if you buy something you should do your due dil. for yourself, and not use your own comprehension of the ingredients to warn other people, if you will. I think the only people who should go on to these forums and give advise about the ingredient deck should be professionals and if you see a review that says the deck is good or is bad for your skin should be taken with a grain of salt. Do your own investigating and lets get back to when a tsv came out you were just so excited to tell someone about it and had fun with it, not be the M.D., only they can really give the advice of how the deck will work or not work for someones skin. I love all the forums, only read them now and I just skip the posts where people other than professionals are doing the RX writing. Have fun with the tsvs, if you dont like it, send it back!!

This IT TSV has proven that the QVC Community is no longer a place for "friends" to gather. It's a place where people can come and promote their own businesses. So many people are hiding behind multiple nics as an effort to boost sales. Before long we'll probably see advertisements from other beauty consultants, as well as lawyers, electronics salesman, wellness experts, etc.

OMG! Only professionals should comment on ingredient decks?!? Thank you, but I have spent a lot of time educating myself about ingredients. I do not always need to rely on a "professional" to tell little ol' me what is good or bad for MY skin. And what exactly constitutes a "professional"? The Brazilian plastic surgeons or nameless dermatologist Jamie, or any other vendor for that matter, claims to work with? Perhaps you didn't mean it but that attitude is at best condescending. At worst, dangerous. I take everyone who comes on to a shopping channel or YouTube with several grains of salt and rely on my own brain to research it. And, as for discussing here - darn tootin' I will. There are some very knowledgeable posters I've learned a lot from. SuzyQ3 one of them. Also, Lynn in Mi, harpa, HappyDaze, estyWa (chased away) and many others. What the heck is a forum for if not to discuss?! Sorry, to get on a soap box but that riled me up.

I'm amazed that this poster claims to have bought ALL beauty TSVs offered on QVC in the last ten years. I'm not sure what to make of that.

I don't see ANYONE pretending to be an MD here. People have only said that they are not interested in the serum due to the ingredients that they would not personally use on THEIR skin. Just because some of you people can use whatever you want to on your skin, or don't care anything about ingredients (as you CLEARLY don't care) that doesn't mean others aren't very concerned about it. Furthermore, ingredients are a BIG thing for people and many DO care!!! People are far more concerned with watching what they are putting on their skin today. So sorry that ruins YOUR "fun" with buying and chatting about EVERY SINGLE TSV. (ugh) If you are buying every single one, you clearly have no reservations about anything, can use whatever you want, and are clearly overly indulgent. But whatever. It still doesn't change the fact that whether you like it or not, people DO and WILL continue to talk about ingredients....because they WANT to, NEED to, and LIKE to. Not everyone is as "fortunate" as you to use whatever they want without giving to shakes about what is IN it. And some people like to make INFORMED decisions as well...not just buy every single tsv and then "send it back if they don't like it"..

For two, I was reading the posts and responding to those I wanted to (Since I was reading/posting in order, and nobody else was posting, my posts showed up as several in a row....so what?). Many were in response to people who had actually responded to ME. So I responded back. I was not posting over and over in a manic panic. (Little overly dramatic there?) I did not just choose to pick YOUR post out. Rather I remember you from MANY other posts where all you do is bash hosts. You have negative things to say about others all the time. That is what the majority of your posts are about, that I have seen. I'm not one to go snooping through people's history and really don't care. I also don't generally pay attention to who is posting what, but there are several that stick out as always bashing hosts...YOU are one!

Yes, it would be nice if the NEW Year brought YOU peace as well. Maybe if you were content within yourself, you would stop bashing the hosts every chance you get? Of course you won't "justify" it because you know you do it...REPEATEDLY! I am not yelling at anyone like I am a teacher either. I do, however, find it ironic that you feel it perfectly acceptable to come on here and bash other women (hosts, vendors, etc. who are women too) but are so opposed to someone doing the same to YOU or others on the board?!!! This is far too common. It seems to be perfectly acceptable for so many of you to come on this board and talk extremely negatively about those you are watching (regular women who just happen to work on a shopping channel) yet you get overly upset and offended by those who tell you that it is wrong to do so. You tell me I am yelling and barraging people just because I gave my OPINION....EXACTLY the same way YOU do when talking about hosts and vendors....So WHO is wrong here? LOL....You and those of you like you will never get it. Honey, you are NO better than me. You think those people are an exception to the rule or something because they are on TV? I don't think so!!! Me saying you are a jerk for making negative comments about the women on tv is no different than you calling me all sorts of negative things for calling you out...goes both ways sweetie....catch a clue. And lastly, I don't recall calling ANYONE any NAMES!!!

Where do you get the notion that "SO MANY people are hiding behind different nics???" Why do people go around accusing others of this? I see a few do it repeatedly. What is your point? How do you KNOW these things? Why do you spend so much time trying to uncover this anyway? And furthermore....WHY DO YOU CARE???
