Would you rather:

1. pay full price for something you want

2. buy something else to be able to save 25%

Buy something I'd rather have. I don't buy just to buy "something". I only buy what I really want. (Within reason)

I rarely pay full price for anything so everything else being equal, i.e, quality, I'd opt for #2.

It depends on what it is. Am I buying a lipstick, a new TV, piece of furniture, or a car? Sometimes I'm very content with a suitable compromise. Other times I will pay more for a feature or quality I'm sold on.

Pay full price for something I want. I won't take chances waiting for a sale. Lost things I really wanted doing that..those things that went perfectly with this or that outfit. Sold out and not coming back things.

As long as I can afford it, I want what I want. Here is an example, today I ordered another cotton lawn nightgown from Vermont Country Store. I have a nice collection of them and the first one I bought looks brand new. They are pretty, cool , and comfortable and totally worth the price . I could find cheaper gowns , but they would not be the same.
