that is so hard to recommend! I have a few that I like---all are liquid/cream, some are bb/cc creams and some I wear are tinted primers, and even a few powders---I am 68 ,have dry skin that I must prepare first before make up, so it all doesn't just sit on top of the skin making me looked dried out. Many variables---

I really like Laura Geller B&B and use it most of the time. I like the ease of it.

However, I've been wanting to try a liquid, cream, or stick foundation. I need a formula that is fragrance free, one that offers some decent coverage but is not mask-like, will not cause milia, and has some moisture to it. I have some dryness to my skin but not overly so. Also, being age 70, I don't want anything that will accentuate a few fine lines.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Estée Lauder Double Wear. It comes in a large range of shades so you should find one that's suitable. Check out the shade chart on their website as a guide or go somewhere that sells it and get an associate to shade match you. This is a beautiful foundation. I wore it on my daughter's wedd8ng day.

I am 71 I use Clinique Even Better foundation. I love it. It is fragrance free, lightweight but covers everything. Clinique online has 30% off site wide with free shipping and free returns. I believe you can be color matched on their site. Try it. I think you will be pleased.

I also recommend the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I was shade matched at Macy's and it is perfect. I'm in my late 60's and don't find this foundation drying. It looks beautiful on - I apply with a dampened sponge - and it lasts all day. I've also applied with a brush and it looks just as good as with a sponge, however, with a brush your coverage is a bit more.

For a more economical option, I highly recommend L'Oreal Serum Foundation. It's fabulous also. Looks good on - I apply with a sponge - stays all day and has a good coverage.

Laura Geller also has a foundation that I like that since you use her B&B you might want to try - Double Take Liquid Foundation. Like this for all the reasons mentioned above.

Being about your age I can tell you what to avoid-stick foundations. They are too drying for our mature dry skin. Tend to look masky. I speak from experience. Can't go wrong with Estee Lauder or Lancôme. I like the Teint Idole liquid foundation. I also like IT cosmetics Nude Glow. However I think Lauder or Lancôme, being higher end, have more shades with subtle differences. For a perfect match. 😊

I have just discovered a new foundation (daughter recommended) and it's a dupe for Jones Road. It's L'oreal's Age Perfect tinted balm (with firming serum). I bought #10 fair/pale and it's available for $12 on Amazon. Hard to find in retail stores.

I have a couple of Estee Lauder foundations that I love, but this one is a wonder! It goes on easily, sinks into the skin and looks like my aging skin, but better. It even covered the brown spot I usually put concealer over. I recommend looking at the colors available and choosing one that suits your coloring. For that little cash, it's worth a try!

I would recommend the Bare Minerals tinted moisturizer that comes in a tube. The coverage is buildable and you do not feel like you are wearing a mask.

@AngelPuppy1 , I recently bought Loreal Infallible spf 25, pump bottle. I was surprised at how nice it is, and only $16. I wear the lightest shade, I'm porcelain. It covers well, and only a tiny bit is enough. Some others mentioned here, I've used, and find them too heavy, and shades are too yellow for me. I also have the Loreal infallible stick, that's nice too, but not as cool shade that I like, and no spf. Both are not drying at all on my skin, but I do always moisturize and use an spf.

The higher end foundations some mentioned here, are either too yellow, or too thick for my liking...besides not always necessary to spend so much if you can something else that works for you.

I used to love Lancome Regenerist, liquid...thats a super easy blendable foundation, with a slight luminous finish. I haven't went back for it, because I'm passing on the luminous finish and again, I just wish it had a bit more pink, and not so much yellow...even in the lightest cool shade.

Another drug store foundation I'm really impressed with is Maybelline Urban spf 50, lots of shades and so natural looking on...yet covers well. Very little is more than enough. I actually think I like it better than the Loreal infallible.

AngelPuppy1--

Doll10 has mulitple foundations. I think there are 3. If you need to cover a mark or whatever then the TCE works well. (None of her choices are cakey or heavy IMO) I also use the Anti Stress Defender foundation. I think this is the new option. Both work well and are light on the skin but cover. You can apply using your fingers, foundation brush or sponge. ( I love her foundation sponge because it's essy to use and I don't get any rash from it. I've had that happen with other sponges)

Hope this helps.
