Bag balm for feet?

Wondering if it works for very dry feet,does it stink? The alpha lotion,is not working so well at the moment on my very dry feet.

I have used Bag Balm on my feet and it did help, especially between my toes. There is an odor but I don't consider it a stink. I don't have it in my house any longer to make a comparison. Personally I prefer Gold Bond for Feet.

After years of looking for a product that worked, the pedi gadget that is battery operated that you use disks to help remove the dead skin works the best. I got mine from QVC years ago, I don't know if they still sell it or not.

I also keep vaseline on my feet especially at night.

In the summer they are worse and I have found that wearing open back sandals/shoes make my feet worse.

I try to find closed back, open toe shoes for summer.

No lotion or cream has done much for my heels.

@goldensrbest I used Bag Balm on my feet/leg post surgery after being in a cast for 3 months. It worked wonders on my dry/peeling skin to restore it to normal. It does have an odor that is not 'stink'. However you perceive the smell, it is well worth the tolerance because this balm is hands down the best at healing/restoring/nourishing skin! Try it---you won't regret it. 😊👍

Try Vicks Vaporub. Or simple vasoline.

Maybe try urea foot cream. There are many brands but it should contain at least 40% urea plus some salicylic acid to help exfoliate also.

Cetaphal in the jar works good for me. It's thick but it isn't greasy. Rubs into my feet easily. Also, it's unscented.

Kerasal is a salicylic acid and urea cream in white petroleum. It was dispensed as samples in the podiatrist's office I worked in. I use it and it is noticeable after one use. There is no odor.

I have some 40% Urea cream leftover...it did nothing.

I'm going back to O'Keefe foot Cream...the one in the flat jar. I still have to use file tools to remove any roughness or callus...then O'Keefe keeps them very soft in-between the buffing. I use a very couse paddle type buffer...I think its called the holy foot file...its curved and has 2 sides, with holes, large handle too. Got it at Walmart.

This is the best foot file ever! Has two sides, rough and smooth, with a smaller file hidden inside the handle. It's about 8-inches long. Head is about 2-inches wide. Good size and is made with a grip type material for non-slippage. Use it on dry feet for best results.

It's a diamond foot file, not a cheese grater. Ulta sells this for $13 and the reviews over there are stellar, 286 of them. People just rave about this one:

I posted recently about Healthy Feet cream ( no scent ) and how the first application made the heel indentations practically disappear after I exfoliated the heels.

Same with me. @jlkz The first time I saw results. I did use a file before on my heels, and then the Healthy feet, and socks. What a difference. If you keep applying everyday it just gets better.

Are you getting pedicures (or doing them yourself)? Sounds like you need to remove some dead skin. I know of no cream that alone is going to work on the more severe cases. Until you do that, you probably won't see improvement.

Several times I've detailed how to do a full pedicure here if you want to DIY. I won't repeat it unless you want to try it. It isn't difficult, only for those with dexterity issues.
