SUNBLOCK YOU LOVE UNDER FOUNDATION THAT DOSEN'T PILL ...

Currently using PRT Water Drench, it will bunch under foundation during application, and its greasy. LARoche, flakes and pills, Neutrogena spf 70 was slimy, Shiseido Urban lotion was good but drying. I'm thinking to try the cream, but some said its greasy...Cerave, awful.

I did like SkinMedica but some some foundations don't get along. Too many to mention here, ...Ughhhh....tell me what you tried and love under ANY foundation.

I'm not a fan of only mineral, as I find they don't protect my fair skin as well. I live in Florida.

I googled what's good under foundation...I saw Garnier, Viche, and 1 other I don't recall right now.

I can use my moisturizer with a spf 23, then a foundation spf 50...should I quit, and just use these?? But what about when I just need an spf without makeup...just for outside my house...in and out all day?? Please any suggestions based on your experiences...TY

I'm not understanding what you're doing .... don't you set your liquid makeup with a setting powder after application? In intense Florida humidity, I can't imagine that the makeup wouldn't just slide down your face if not set with powder.

I know a lot of sunscreens don't work well with makeup, although I have no idea why. And some loose powders have an SPF, which can add to protection ....

First .... How much coverage do you need? Light, medium or heavy?

I have a lot of issues with foundation and spf....although I'm over 50, my skin is quite oily instead of the typical dry-so I was looking for something that would help my foundation stay on and not have it gone by noon. Although I don't have any products that work really good, the best thing I've found was Murad Oil and Pore Mattifier spf 45....I use it as my daily moisturizer/spf. Initially it came in only a spf 15, but it was such a great product that nothing budged; now with the 45 my makeup still stays on pretty good, but not as good.

Suncreen is a tough one under makeup-it can have flash back in pictures and make your foundation look awful. Another one I heard was pretty good but I haven't tried is the Elta MD UV clear spf 46. Good luck, let us know if you find a HG...😃

I use Drmtlgy SPF 45. It makes my skin feel like silk. I use a liquid foundation, no problem.

@Tinkrbl44 , yes I use a setting powder, loose. It has nothing to do with powder...its spf pilling while applying foundation.

Hi! I have used Clinique superdefense cityblock ( I just ready the tube and it says daily energy lol) and I have used Elta md. That one was just recommended by my derm. hope that helps!

I use this one. It's a Japanese brand and contains sunscreen ingredients used over there. I use this alone w/o moisturizer. It's very hydrating and it's compatible with my mineral foundation.

I'm really negligent about SPF. After following Michelle Speiler (resident of NC) on UTube, she put the fear of God into me!!! If you "do" social media, she has numerous videos on types of SPF and how they interact with foundation. In the past, I always found Clinique to work well. I recently started tinted moisturizer with SPF to get my skin use to it. My skin is super dry so I can use a lot of oily products and I don't live in a humid climate. I'm just starting CereV. Found Aussie brand Bondi Sands just too goopy. Also, a Supergoop fan. Also, every brand seems to have sub categories of types of SPF. Very confusing??? Good luck to you all😁

Neutrogena Invisible Daily Defense Lotion. SPF 30 or 60. It is peach colored rather than stark white. It is not heavy or greasy. I wear it under makeup with no problem.

Your foundation might be pilling because your using too much sunscreen. Have you tried either a primer or a finishing powder with SPF?

@justashopper it's recommended that you use 1/4 teaspoon of sunscreen on your face and neck in order to get the spf that's stated on the bottle. I doubt anyone is going to use that much primer. A finishing powder would not give you even or adequate coverage.

Ghost Democracy mineral sucscreen. This is the only sun

screen that I have repurchased. I always hate sunscreen but this one works for me. I used under Estee lauder DW and no problem. It works under powder foundation as well.

Looking at a measuring spoon, 1/4 tsp is actually not that much, for your entire face and neck (front and back). There are face powders specifically designed as sunscreen that are translucent (finishing powder).
