Reading several articles about the 'Best' beauty products of 2022

What's your 'Best' beauty product of 2022? It doesn't need to be a brand new product in the market, maybe it's just something new to your regime.

I am in process of reorganizing/purging my beauty products and will follow up soon with my personal pick.

I just perused the W List of their 2022 picks...I haven't tried even one of them! It's interesting to me to learn about new brands, innovations. Starting my wish list for new 2023 purchases 😎

The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10%.

Glow Recipe pink moisturizer

Makeup would be: Nomad cosmetics Lake Como eyeshadow palette (a nine shade palette with green, blue and neutral shades-no longer available)

@Chi-town girl Wow, very expensive products!!! Not sure if these are your choices for the year or not. Intersting thread and anxious to read replies.

My BEST BEAUTY PRODUCTS and get the "@Shanus Award" are the cosmetics from Westman Atilier. I have the foundation sticks. One is a bit lighter than my skin as concealer and brightness in the center of my face, the other is skin tone correct for the rest of my face. Using a paddle type foundation brush and only placing where needed, these expensive sticks (think $68) last a good while.

I also have the WA blush stick in Petal, the contour stick in Biscuit and the highlight stick in Lit. My powders are on order.

This line gets my 5 stars.

Skincare: DRMTLGY is getting my vote for the products I've tried so far....Exfoliating Body Lotion, Gentle Cleanser, Vit. C serum, Needle-less Serum and their SPFS in tinted and untinted (for my neck and chest to keep it off my clothing). There's also a neck cream,but the jury is still out on this.

Most of the new things seem to be variations on a theme. Impossible to try them all, and I wouldn't want to be a beauty editor. But every once in a while something catches my attention.

This past year I wanted to combine vitamin c w/ my night protocol, and so found MD Complete retinol w/ C.

And as always, ingredients intrigue me, and so was especially intrigued with the Bloomeffects moisturizer/s.

Several things are on my radar, but I'm in no hurry to make any major switch.

Think the best beauty products for me this year was the discovery of SKINN morning and evening cleansers, DermaPeel, and exfoliating pads.

Also, started doing a double cleanse at night and have tried oils - Palmers, Burt's Bees (I think), and DHC. All seem fine. Will go on to balms next that I have in my stash.

Makeup was a few foundations - L'Oreal, Kosas, Estee Lauder, SKINN - like them all. Then there are the blushs and eyeshadow palettes that are way too many to mention

KORRES - discovered their shower gerls and body lotions.

My best 'new' to me beauty for 2022:

Body Serums - I thought this might be an extra step that wouldn't be beneficial, but I'm using several different ones in rotation - Beekman, Josie Maran Milk and Korres Hyaluronic Plumping Body Serum
BeautyBio GloFacial Tool - added this to my regime for 2x weekly facials - FABULOUS! The NuFACE device is still my fav beauty tool
Tweak'd Jatamansi scalp serum - has added volume to my hair and used in combo with the 'Wig in Can' 2XL Fiber Spray is a dynamic combination
Lancer Brightening Booster & Advance C kit. This has replaced the Isomers Vit C serum in my regime
