Tweak'd by Nature Users?

I bought Ojon products back when it debuted. I'm not sure what it was called, the Restore oil maybe? The thick stuff in a jar? I didn't use it on my hair, I used it on my skin, I liked how it felt. Are any of the scents the same as the original? What scents do you like? Hate?

When I saw Tweak'd by Nature I got scrub, clayditioner, and the conditioning mist spray in the Rise & Shine scent. I ordered it in a hurry because some things sell out so quickly that you don't have time to research. Is the scrub difficult to wash out? It does look easy to use. I can't wait to try it.

Do you like the conditioning mist? I didn't even know what it was when I ordered it, I wanted a leave-in spray in the R&S scent so I got it. If any jumbo sizes were available they're all gone. If I love the spray, I'll catch it later.

For your body, try the all purpose rescue cream, it's wonderful! As far as scents, I think he claims that the Amber Vanilla is the original, although I didn't use Ojon so I have no comparison. I like the Amber but most of the other scents I have tried (besides Frangipani) smell funky to me. The Yogi Berry smells rancid to me and the Above The Clouds smells like wet ashes, although it has great reviews. Like all scents, it varies by individual.

I ordered ojon once and could not stand the smell of it. I tried using it but the scent was so heavy all day it gave me a headache. I returned. When the tweak'd products came out, I decided to try again, but not the original scent. I got the above the clouds and I love that scent. I got the big shampoo and conditioner and I really like it, but probably won't buy again. It's just too expensive and I haven't seen any amazing results. I have tried the cleansing treatment and I just can't get the hang of it so I use it as a conditioner. I tried the scrub and I really hated that, though many love it. It was so messy and I just couldn't get it to do what it was supposed to do. It would just stay so gritty. I probably just didn't do it right, though I tried many times. The conditioning spray is nice, again, nothing amazing. I'm still tempted when it comes on because I really love the scent of above the clouds.

I hope you love everything and it works well for you.

@Suzeecat I do have the Rescue Cream on my list. I may go ahead and get it if the sales are still on.

Have you tried the Cleansing Hair Treatment? Since I got the scrub and clayditioner, I didn't think I needed it also. Right now my hair looks amazing with the Eleni + Chris line so I got 6 of their shampoo sets so I'm good for a while.

The original scent was okay with me but I'm excited to try Rise & Shine, many reviewers describe it as a spa scent.

Can the scrub be used on the body? Or do you have to use the Body and Hair scrub which costs $10 more?

@Renata22 that's what I'm afraid of with the scrub. So I thought I'd use as a body scrub if it doesn't work for my hair. I just hope it does, though. After reading reviews, I figured I'd be one who couldn't get it to work properly, or it'll dry my hair and make it a tangled mess, or make it fall out.

I'm with you, I'm not paying those prices for something I don't love or doesn't work.

And thank you. If it doesn't work, at least I got these things on a great sale and I'll find someone who can use them. My daughter always lays first claim to stuff I don't want so it will get used.

@SnowOwl79 I bet the scrub would work much better on the skin. It just made my hair a gnarled mess. Not what I was looking for. It looked so easy when they demonstrated!

@SnowOwl79 All you do with the hair scrub,is wet your hair good ,apply a small amount of scrub,work into a lather.

I am a big Tweak'd fan. I use many of their products - shampoo, conditioner, scrub, cleansing treatment, claydtioner, revitalizing mists, styling cream, fiber lift, hairspray, Jatamansi scalp serum, Glacier Milk mask cleanser and moisturizer, all-purpose rescue cream. Great product line!

The Rejuvinating Treatment Oil is the one most like the original Ojon. I have it and i see nowhere that there is a scent name, so I'm thinking that one just comes in that scent. It says skin & hair on it, so you can use it on your skin if you like. I used to use it as a hair dressing to keep the frizzies at bay as mentioned on the container, but no longer do. It seemed to make my hair kinda stiff. So, I mostly just use it occasionally as directed at night before shampooing in the morning.

I didn't have a problem with his scrubs, but I was concerned they might stirp my color since they are clay based, so I only use it when I get close to colroing my hair. I didn't find it difficult to remove.

I would probably use more of his products if he would transition away from silicones. The Rejuvenating Oil is one of the few that doesn't have them. If you ever look at the ingredient decks, there's a lot of not nature doing most of the work.

Love the rescue cream. I have been using it for years. Also use the scrub mainly after I have been working outside in the heat. I put a small amount on my hands and rub them together and then apply to wet hair. I always apply cream rinse after. Use all his products to include his mega size shampoos and cream rinse and his hydrating balms. I loved Ojon and hated when it got sold.

I got the rise and shine shampoo and the scrub in a beauty box and I like the scrub but have many now that came in kits. I just reordered the rise and shine shampoo and they only had it with cond and I had a 10 coupon so I got that.

14.99 for both.

I don't normally spend that much on shampoo but I really like it. 9 oz is a pretty good size for me.

@SnowOwl79 - just used their scalp scrub yesterday. Love it. Also use their shampoo and conditioner. Just bought a hair styling product - can't remember the name of it - should be arriving soon. I have liked all their products that I've tried so far.

Edited to add: Forgot I use the Revitalizing Mist all the time too.

There's a Rise & Shine shampoo and conditioner set with the restore oil. But there are complaints about wax beads in the oil. Looks like the new formula isn't up to par.

Right now I'm going to incorporate the scrub. If there's anything else I want to try, I can get it later. I'm so happy with my Elani + Chris shampoos right now, they were made for my hair.

@SnowOwl79 , The jar I have does suggest adding a "drop or two" to your favorite shampoo/conditoner, but I can't figure out how that could ever work. It's a solid. It does liquify in your hands when you rub them together, but I believe it returns to the solid state at room temp which is why my hair feels stiff. I have to dig it out with the back of a fingernail, so I can't see how it would dissolve in a shampoo/conditioner.

Possibly the Dhatelo is the original scent. I never used the original Ojon. I was a huge fan of th Ojon Tawaka though. Ojon is one of those lines that got sold just as I discovered it. Not much better than discontinuing a product since they always change them when they get bought out.

I believe the Amber Vanilla is supposed to be closed to the original Ojon, although perhaps less earthy??

I think my favorite scent in this line is the Above the Clouds, which is described as Lilac and Vanilla. I'm not into florals but I really like it. It's a light and powdery scent. I've used it in the treatment, shampoo and conditioner, mist and rescue cream.

As to the scrub, I find it easy to use. It lathers well however you HAVE to use a conditioner afterwards. They do sell the clayconditioner and often sell it along with the scrub in the tubes. As another poster mentioned, I only use the scrub when my hair color is faded so as not to strip any color (I don't know that it will, but some have said so so I don't take any chances).

I have the tubes of hand cream and conditioning shampoo/conditioner (3 oz. ea) on auto ship about 2-3 xs a year. I like both products. Mine are Wild SummerApricot ,Above the Clouds, and the cocoa. I am not wild about any of the fragrances but I do like the products and find them helpful. I find the fragrances dissipate fast anyway.

I purchased the huge shampoo and conditioner in unscented. I find it drying to my hair.

My main complaint about the tubes is how difficult it is to squeeze them out when about half empty. Almost impossible. I have to cut them and place in a sealable sandwich bag to get all of the product out. I wish they were more pliable.

@Icegoddess I'm sure that's why I didn't use it in my hair, which is right on the cusp of fine so everything weighs it down, and it felt stiff. I didn't like it in my hair but felt really nice as an after shower oil. I remember having to warm it up and it was so thick it took a while.

It seems to me like it was a nutty scent but I don't remember distinctly. I didn't think it smelled bad at all, I remember liking it actually.

That's something I didn't understand either about the oil, how are you going to put a drop in shampoo. I may try it later.

I would love if these companies would sell blister packs with different scents. It would make things so much easier. Or put scent cards in orders. Anything to help cut back on returns. Many times I won't buy something when I'm not sure of the scent.

The vendors usually sell out after becoming successful. I look for the Beekman boys to be selling not long from now. You can't stock up on much there, it goes sour quickly.

@SnowOwl79 I may be wrong, but I thought the Beekman Boys already sold their company. They may remain as spokespeople or the deal may not have been completed yet.
