Thumbs UP! - Dermalogica Brightn Exfol Powdr

I finally got around to trying this Dermalogica "Brightening Powdr Exfoliant" & I find it thumbs up.

Comes in a small, small jar/bottle, & I only used a smidge of the powder (<1/4 tsp)?. Not sure of amt in this small bottle but used hardly any.

First, wet my face, sprinkled a little water on the powdr in my hand, & darn if it didnt do the trick - *Exfoliated AND Brightened* yet felt very gentle, the kind of gentle I think could be used every day, as they advertise. It kind of "melts on my face." I didnt feel any granules or roughness.

Honestly, i forgot they said "Brighten," but when surprised at my brightened complexion, I checked the box - sure enough!

Much more gentle than the Philosophy Microderm that I use a lot, (incl all over some body parts.) I think I might use this new product on my face daily.

I love this stuff. I've been using it for the past couple of months and my face has improved. It's even removed some of the barnacles from my face. I really like Dermalogica products.

Y'know, I just casually ran my hand down my neck, and it feels a heckofa difference! I forgot to use this on my neck. So it REALLY does work!

Big difference in feel between face feel & neck feel!

Will BRB. Got to "finish the job!" heh

I'm so glad you like it. This is the only manual exfoliator I use. I get the travel size and it lasts forever.

That's what my dermatologist calls bumpy sometimes scaly skin on face.

I love their Superfoliant which is a little more intense. It's by far the best manual exfoliator I've ever used. It's fairly expensive, but lasts forever.

Y'know @monicakm I tried to buy it individually, but it sold out so fast

I believe I might have some in a Tacha kit, that I havnt tried yet. Probably a big reason why I even bought the Tacha kit.

It will be interesting to see the difference betw both.
I was amazed how uber gentle, yet effective, & ESP brightening that this Dermalogica was!

I'd forgotten the "brightening" function, & was shocked when finished rinsing & looked up into the mirror. My face looked like it was bleached! Scared me at first! I had to go check the box!

I had to go back and do my neck that I forgot, so I'll perhaps be using more product. And since I'm sorta an exfoliation freak, incl body, I'll perhaps use a lot more. heh altho I have many exfol products .NOTHING like this "brightening" tho.

The other day, I just ordered another little bottle of this stuff.

I hope to try the Tacha also if its in my Tacha kit.

In the past, I thought I'd read here how many used the Tacha Rice Powdr, mixed together with the Tacha "Camilla oil.". Do you remember anything about that? Had you tried that?

Then there were those who found a happy, less expensive alternatives to the Tacha Rice Powdr/Camilla Oil combo cleansing on Amz..

Ebay has travel and sample sizes @GenXmuse . Glad you mentioned it. I'd rather try a small sample/travel size than investing in a full size.

Here's some updated feedback from a prior relating thread, about the WHITE container of this Dermalogica Brightn Exfol Powdr.

Update, I need much more exfoliation, but this is gentle enough to use *very often,* for me. I could be less careful with this than my other exfoliating products.

But the "brightening" effect of this product, was amazing! VERY amazing. It surprised me! I'm keeping it, even ordered another 2nd small container.

I wasnt as impressed with this Dermalogica beyond my face. This is the first time I recall a cleanser that worked for the face, but not at all for the neck & décolleté. More "living & learning."
