It sounds like you need a leave in conditioner. I prefer Kendra Styling Cream which isn't expensive or greasy.

I'm new to the curling iron game in 35ish years. I bought a double coated ceramic Conair curling iron. I'm using a heat protectant. Does anyone have any idea why My hair is fuzzy looking when I use it. I like to wash my hair and style it at night because second and third and even fourth day hair looks better than the first day. It's not quite as fuzzy this morning and will be even less so as the day goes on but I don't understand why I'm getting this "fuzzy effect" when I first style my hair with the curling iron. Hope that makes sense.
