I always have a Burt's Bees tinted lip balm in Red Dahlia or Rose with me. I'd use that for blush & lips and be fine. No idea how I'd create any other cosmetics.

What I'd REALLY rather have with me is a good mirror and pair of tweezers--it wouldn't matter about blush or lips if my face is covered with hair and my eyebrows have grown to meet my eyelashes!

If I washed up on a desert island I would look washed up no matter what due to my hair. So a good lip balm it is because comfort is more important than looks when you're in survival mode.

I'm with @monicakm - I know that the island I would be washed up on would definitely have lots of trees with shade so no need for sunscreen. LOL My makeup item would have to be lipstick/gloss. Loving my new TARTE lip cremes so maybe I'd have one of those with me!

I would take lipgloss since chapped lips over time is very uncomfortable.

Since I rarely use make up, it wouldn't be important to create anything else.

Also having no mirror I won't be aware how beautiful I'm not 😳😳

I wasn't washed up on an island, but I was stuck in a remote area without my chapstick and was miserable. I ended up paying about $10 for one stupid tube of chapstick and it was worth every dang penny I paid.

Now I do not travel without multiple tubes of lip balm stuck in every bag...from purse, to laptop case, makeup case and suitcase. I buy them in 3 packs at Target and probably have 20 packs in the house right now of cherry chapstick. Hubby uses it too, so it's not ALL about me. Lol.

Agree with the majority....a creamy tint on the lips, be it lip balm, chapstick, or gloss...a necessity.

Body lotion. Even tho I have oily skin all over, I slather myself with body lotion every morning. What's left on my hands, I spread on my lips and lip area. I've used body lotion as a facial moisturizer before, if nothing else is available. So, if washed up on an island, I would be very happy I had packed a big bottle of lotion.
