topic Why does miracle worker moisturizer make my face sting? in Beauty

This is one of the reasons I have begun to question how good philosophy skin care actually is: every time I apply MW moisturizer it stings for a few seconds. And it seems to be increasing the longer I use it. I have seen other people post the same thing.

This has been a decent moisturizer for me, and except for this one nagging issue, I would continue to purchase it but for now I am looking at alternatives.

Has anyone asked a member of the philosophy team about this or discovered if it is a specific ingredient or combination of ingredients?

I have very sensitive and increasingly dry, tight feeling skin and this does a good job of fighting the dryness and in the 8 oz size and on EP, I can afford it. But with my other doubts about the company, this one bugs me more over time. I have 2 small jars left and do not know what else will work as well without being one of those awful "old lady" thick creams my mom used in her final years. Just the sight of that goo gives me the creeps!
