Thoughts on Bumble and Bumble thickening Shampoo

thinking of trying it and wondered what those of you that have this line think of it ? Really interested it the scalp detox and thickening shampoo/conditioner. 😺

I love it! I think its the best volumizing shampoo\conditioner set on the market.

A word of caution - this is NOT for color treated hair. Many of us were so angry as this was not stated in the presentation. There are sulfates in this and the company's website states that it is not for color treated hair. This was totally misrepresented during the presentation (as you can see from many reviews). I called CS and they are not charging me for the return.

@Kitty Galore I tried it years ago. Most thickening s&c achieve this by leaving out the moisturizers that weight the hair down.

I prefer using a regular shampoo/conditioner and get my thickening results from styling products like gels and foams.

Wow @lovesallanimals . Tons of women color their hair. I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned during the presentation. Glad you're not getting charged.

I found both the shampoo and conditioner to be very drying. And that was years ago when I still had healthy hair.

My hairdresser told me yrs ago that voluming shampoo tends to dry hair!!! Since I color my hair always stayed away from those kind of shampoos.

@Kitty Galore I have suggested this before on this beauty forum and the women loved it. It's by Aquage and it is a very fine mist the thickening spray gel product. I shampoo, towel dry (take the wetness out) and then spray this on if your hair is short 5 or 6 sprays maybe add about 3 more sprays for long hair. It works plus rinses out with clear water. I have been using for over 10 years.

I tried it years ago and it did nothing for my fine hair. Also, I did the Kerastase line and the same results. Both were expensive to use but always was looking for that "miracle product" to help my hair.

@lovesallanimals I didn't realize that ; I read it had no parabens or sulfates ! I ordered last night from Amazon now I guess I have to cancel cause I have color treated hair .

Kity Galore - Check the reviews and you will see all the angry comments. Stupidly, I did not check the reviews before I ordered this. When I received it, it listed sulfates in the ingredients. Shawn as well as all the models have color treated hair so this was entirely misleading. To say I was upset is a huge understatement.

@lovesallanimals yes like you unfortunately I didn't read the reviews and wished I had. It's ok I'll just send it back when it arrives . Crazy to me for them to make hair care products with sulfates when probably 80% of women do have color treated hair now I have to find another line and do my research this time 😀.
