WIGS YESTERDAY?

I was so temped by the IRRISTIBLE ....the tight curly wig in light grey.

Ali is right, the air drying or using a diffuser takes time to get our style.

Anyone purchase a wig?

was tempted but in reality would never wear it

just for a different color but the styles didn't talk to me

No, I have no need , however If I had thin hair or balding , I would consider a wig. Don't know how the quality or price of Brattin wigs as compared to other wig companies .

For women with temporary or permanent hair issues, wigs can provide comfort to one's selfesteem.

@skatting44 Tony's wigs are very inexpensive compared to "real hair" wigs.

Before I let my hair go silver, I went to an expensive wig store and tried several on in silver, but close to my pixie style at the time. It helped me decide if I wanted to go for the natural color with no more dye.

Loved the wig with the curls. Don't know if I could wear it. Couple or reasons stopped me. I am tender headed The hair volume was way to dense for a person of my age. Colors were perfect . Toni does have nice products her one fault in the hair pieces I have purchased is that they are to shiny but because they are mixed with my hair it is unnoticeable, I was going order and return it if it didn't work but reasonableness overtook me.

@Shanus I have been considering buying a wig because between the thinning that has accelerated since I turned 80 and my very fine hair, even with regular professional cuts and color I no longer get pretty hair for the 4th week. During many of those weeks it doesn't really matter, but I still don't like it.

I did watch part of one show yesterday and decided to ask my stylist for her advice next week. I know whatever I buy, I will need her help with it so I might as well try to start there. Just because she doesn't sell wigs herself doesn't mean she's not knowledgeable.

Most of the models looked great in the wigs as compared to their own hair color / styles .

Maybe they should let the models wear these Brattin wigs as they like on a regular basis

For too shiny wigs or hairpieces Amazon sells wig powder puff on a stick, using any powder on puff, lightly puff piece.

Also, shine will diminish as wig is used.

I didn't purchase any wig yesterday ; but have two of Toni's wigs . They fit well and are of good quality . No one has ever asked me if I'm wearing a wig . Even fooled the people I work with ! They are so convenient ; and , I always have a good hair day . Also great when you want to go somewhere on the spur of the moment ! Toni looks fabulous in every wig she wears .

I have a couple of her hair pieces. They look very natural, however I have dark brown hair so it's an easier match. The one is a ponytail, but the clip isn't tight enough or something so that it adds weight on my hair and it just isn't that comfortable. The other one is a shoulder length add in hairpiece that gives more volume to your hair. I do like it, but my hair has to be that same length and I'm wearing it shorter now. I wouldn't say either of them are really Unnaturally shiny, but I have pretty healthy shiny hair anyway. Personally, I wouldn't pay a full wig off of TV, because I have tried on wigs at a wig shop and so many of them look fake. I think it's better to have a professional help you.

@jackthebear I considered the medium length wavy one but cannot STAND that "rooted" look on the blond shades. To me it simply looks like you need a "touch-up" so I passed.
