Any thoughts on Lancome? HSN TS or mascaras??

There are just so many products out there!!! No need for jumbo sizes! Need to get through them so we can try new things!!

So glad you asked. I love this brand. My two fave products are their lipsticks and the original Definicils mascara. I've been on auto ship from the Lancôme website for at least two years. Every three months.
I occasionally try other mascaras and lipsticks but haven't found any that I like as well.

I splurged one time and bought Génifique. Didn't see any difference in my skin, nothing that a drug store moisturizer couldn't give me.

I find their skin care to be very overpriced with less than stellar ingredients.

Funny you should ask. I just bought the Lancome stick foundation that a few people here raved about. I went to Sephora to let someone tell me what shade to buy instead of using the easier online! Anyway, I love it. It feels like silk. I thought this could never cover anything. Wrong. Perfect coverage. No one would even know you had it on. And since the ingredients aren't made to go INTO the skin I think I'll be OK. Also, I sometimes just use it to conceal a sunspot or two instead of doing my whole face. It was 44$ but as long as it lasts, I think it was worth it.

Lancôme mascara is the absolute best. I would not consider using any other. Why keep trying new ones? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Worked in a major retailer for several years & got to try many products.

Mascara wise, the Lancome hypnose & the Lancome monsieur are excellent. I didn't like their idole mascara, its performance was not superior to much lower end products.

Tarte lights camera lashes or their gifted amazonian clay mascara are also favorites & are considered to have more "natural" ingredients.

The genifique serum is good - absorbs quickly & leaves skin feeling great, some argue that potency is lost when massed produced in larger bottles.

Lancome along with Clinique & Estee Lauder are tried & true for the most part.

I just ordered their newest Mascara and the Bi Facil. Basically you pay for the mascara and the Bi facil for free....I love their mascaras and I love Bi facil, so for me it was a win win-I get to try the newest mascara!

I've been dedicated to Lancome mascara for more than 30 years. I started with Immencils. Through the years have been willing to try a mascara from other brands, but even for the ones that performed well, I always feel like my lashes look better with Lancome. My favorite is Grandiose, but Monsieur Big and Hypnose Drams are close seconds. Idole was a huge disappointment.

My opinion about Genifique is that it is nothing special. I've had a chance to use a bottle and it did not improve my skin. My skin is pretty good, but I expected to see at least some minor enhancement. Good skin can be improved as I am witnessing this year after making Elemis Pro Marine Cream my moisturizer of choice, the nighttime addition of Peter Thomas Roth's Retinol serum, and I started taking an Andrew Lessman Healthy Hair, Skin and Nails supplement daily in January.

@bargainsgirl - I had a friend who worked for Lancôme in their NYC office for years until she retired. I got to try all of the newest mascaras when they first came out.

I always went back to Definicils.

I don't use it any longer because I found another brand I liked better. But I agree that it's one of the best.

@jobiz I don't think any of the Lancome mascaras give the lashes that raccoon eye look that you're referring to. I think you would probably like the original Hypnose mascara best. The lashes will definitely have enhanced volume and appear longer, but not look like false eyelashes or raccoon eyes.
