Eye Cream Recommendations

Any good eye creams out there that you use? Doesn't matter if it's cheap or expensive.

Tarte Maracuja eye cream is the best for me. Tried It Confidence eye cream, and it was so/so. I don't use cheap eye cream because the products can cause an allergic reaction and irritation. Eye cream is important.

For the past few months or so I've been using 2 eye creams. One in the morning and one in the evening. The only reason is because both were open and I wanted to use them up. I've found, however, that my eye area looks great.

The AM eye cream is Pacifica Vegan Collagen Recovery Eye cream.

The PM eye cream is Elemis Peptide 4 Eye Recovery Cream.

I would recommend either one.

I have a few recs....

1. Josie Maran Divine Milk Eye Serum. Thin consistency that absorns easily and plumps the eye area. This is the one I am currently using and like.

These are denser in consistency than the milk, but I have used and would buy again.

2. Kiehls Avocado eye cream.

3. Algenist Renewal Eye Balm.

4. IT Cosmetics Confidence in an Eye Cream

To be honest, I feel like eye creams just appear in my life. I never really buy one, they seem to come with other products or as gifts with purchase. Even the Josie Maran I am currently using. It came with a Milk Serum. LOL. When it runs out I am either going to re-pirchase or I will buy one of the other ones.

I always use more of a cream type for overnighht, but a gel or serum type for during the day. like the ones that come with a metal roller applicator for day, very cooling.

@kelshar I've been using the Bobbi Brown Extra Repair eye cream for a few years now. It's rich and very moisturizing. I have an older version of this and paid $72 at the time. It's $86 now but a little goes a long way and a jar lasts a really long time.

@SeaMaiden , I've been using Shiseido since I was in my 20's, and although I try many other lines, I always go back to Shiseido. The Benefiance line works the best for me...the eye cream is the most hydrating, plumping, and gives me lasting results. It takes away any lines around the eye area, and the skin is super hydrated, and smooth. Its a very rich product, so a little is fine for day. At night, I apply a little heavier...again, no lines at all. I'm using the softener, day cream, and night cream. Macy's offer nice sets, with a load of free samples...everything is phenomenal. The serums, cleansers, and more are just the best I ever use. That's just my experience.

@kelshar I need moisture in my eye area. I am not looking for dark circle reduction or other treatments.

Just a nice moisture application, so that may effect what you are looking for.

I have used most of the eye creams mentioned, but will probably try Pacifica & Mad Hippie since I never have.

THE most moisturizeing eye creams for me also happen to be the least expensive ones that I have tried.

#1 is Trader Joe's Supreme Hydrating Eye Cream-$7 for .53 oz. It is a lovely eye cream & gives me the moisture that I need.

My 2nd favorite is Acure Radically Rejuvenating Eye Cream (What is with these names? It is not radical or rejuvenating.). Also very nice cream with lots of moisture. $16 for 1 oz.

I too was looking...I decided to try RMS beauty oil because you can use it over entire face and eye area. I wanted something simple. SO I am happy to report that I really like it. I use it am and pm. It does not make my eyes smart as do many eye creams. Makeup goes on just fine. Best to use over very damp nearly wet skin. There is no water in the product. Watch the video. Rosemary explains well. Many people complain about the fragrance but i actually like it. It is very warm and earthy and it will go away. I have combo skin and I have not noticed it clogging pores.

I actually have several that I alternate. I like them all, so it's hard to pick just one.

My morning eye creams that I alternate are:

O'O Hawaii Birdsong
Peter Thomas Roth Peptide 21 (probably my favorite for the AM because it wears well under make-up)
Paula's Choice Omega+ Complex Eye Cream

My nighttime eye cream is:

Peter Thomas Roth Retinol Fusion PM Eye Cream
O'O Hawaii Birdsong (this is good for both AM/PM), plus you can apply it on the lid, too!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE----Kiehls avocado eye cream--is pricy tho but I bought a sample size on ebay for not muchto try. Works wonders for me. Does not claim to magically remove wrinkle or puffiness it is a moisturizer---

Don't want to highjack the OP's thread but does anyone here have very sensitive eyes and issues with eye creams? I have tried so many different products and at first I think they will be o.k., but the next thing you know my eyes are watering like crazy and are red! I only buy creams or gels which say they are fragrance free but still I seem to have problems. If I don't use something under my eyes, this area looks horrible! Dry and lined! I even tried just using my regular facial moisturizer under the eye and the same thing?

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

@AngelPuppy1 That would be me. Believe it or not I'm using the eye cream Trader Joe's carries. It's great. It doesn't bother my eyes and it works. It's like $5.
