I have been a huge fan of Tarte brow products, but I'm still on the fence with the newest one - their Volumizing Brow Powder.

First, the color I got - Medium Brown (which I've ordered in the other Tarte brow products) - was definitely different, but still works for me (I'm not complaining about the shade, just pointing that out for anyone interested). It's more of an ashy/cooler toned brown, which I actually need/prefer.

As far as volumizing - no. Not at all. It feels and acts just as any brow powder I have. If anything, the powder tends grabs onto my hairs and makes them look powdery before combing it through. It only gives my brows a soft, natural look. I have very sparse brows and would still need/prefer to use a pencil along with this.

I do like this, but not even close to how I've liked other Tarte brow products. Not only that, but it's much more than any of the other Tarte brow products. I understand that it's also marketed to use on the scalp, but I personally don't need that at this point in my life so I was getting this as a brow powder only.

I did a full review with lots of pics on my beauty blog - although I won't link it anymore because my last post that took forever to make --- showing swatches and pics of all the new Jordana products --- got removed. But you can find me by searching for Valentine Kisses Beauty Blog.

Here are some pics:
