I really like it, it is a great finishing powder and makes everything come together and look finished & airbrushed. It's also helps you to look refreshed to apply after a few hours or a full day of work! It does for me at least.

Not for me. I used it for years to help with my oily skin. What I failed to put together is -- I didn't have oily skin until I started using MV. I used the heck out of the MV SPF 25 for the extra sun protection even after I stopped using the BE foundation. I finally realized that the more I applied the MV, the more oil I produced.

I started using BE foundation again, because I just cannot find anything that looks as natural. However, I will not be using MV.

Something else to consider -- if you have acne, the corn starch in the MV may not be the best thing for you. Corn is food for bacteria.

I love Mineral Veil! I've used it for years! I have few different versions and they are all great.

Can't skip my mineral veil. The original and the perfect light mineral veil are my favorites! It is just so light and doesn't ""add"" anything extra to your face.

Bare Minerals contains bismuth oxychloride which can cause acne and skin irritations. I use Everyday minerals, it doesn't contain it. I just found this out recently..have no idea why they put it in makeup!

The original Veil does not contain Biz~Oxy. I don't know about the newer veils. The Foundations do contain BO.

Zea Mays (Corn Starch), Corn Starch Modified, Zinc Stearate, Magnesium Stearate. May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499)

I use the original mineral veil and works great on me. I used to use the spf mineral veil but i had no luck with that one. It would make me oily but the original works great!
