First Aid cream

Have you seen the price of two....the price has doubled. Did they have a problem getting the ingredients, shipping, etc. I give as gifts but do not think this will be happening at this price.

I noticed how high the price is, too. Not worth it for me. I still have some unopened from the last time they did a TSV on auto-delivery. (And you also got two tubes of the hand cream with that.)

It's a P&G product and they have significantly raised their prices all across the board.

I did not know that it was a P&G product. I thought it was a private company that made it. Boy! am I surprised.

None of us could possibly know the exact reasons, whether it was lack of ingredients, shipping issues or what.

I just expect EVERYTHING will/has been going up and I am starting to be VERY picky shopper!

First Aid is permanently OFF my list.

P&G is raising their prices to protect their profit margins as commodity and freight costs continue to climb.

P&G bought First Aid in 2018. These price increases are about keeping high profit margins for P&G. They are not increases typical of inflation but more about corporate earnings reports.

Love this stuff, but won't be buying anymore. I can buy 2 larger containers of Cerave at Costco for $20. They priced themselves out of the market.

Check TJ Maxx, mine has had First Aid items the last few months. Not always the big tubs, but often tubes of hand cream, eye cream and I think I saw a face mask. Not cheap though...the last tube of hand cream was only 2 oz for $7.99.

Like @PJinIA I saw Frist Aid at TJMaxx several times recently and posted that last week. I didn't check the prices since I don't use that brand.

wow! I'm sad. I really grew to love FAB skin cream. It's also out of my budget now. I have several tubs in my stash from previous TSV's so at least I can enjoy it for a while longer before I have to find a replacement. The Cerave cream interests me but I don't have a Costco membership. Altough I've heard if you buy gift cards and use them, it's a work around for purchasing a membership? Anyone know if that works?

Those are 14oz jars. A 6oz jar on QVC and everywhere else is $38.00. I'm not saying it's not a lot of money and I don't know what the prices were previously but compared to the 6oz jar, that's a very good deal.

That is double what my last TSV auto ship order price was in December. Same 14 oz. jars plus it had two tubes of their hand cream included. Granted, it was a TSV price but still, that's crazy.
I'm increasingly finding that a lot of things that I used to not blink at buying are now priced out of my comfort zone.
I think many companies are relying on customer loyalty to their products to keep the increasing $$$ coming in, but for me, my only loyalty is to my wallet and there's always a lower priced product out there that will fulfill my needs.

Sometime after they were sold to P&G, there was talk of a change in ingredients. I know that even before Covid they lost a lot of space at Ulta.

Once a line is sold they are never the same.

If you have a visa card you can buy online at costco.com but there is a 5% surcharge if you're not a member is what I've read. Right now they have a really good deal on the cerave cream. Just go to costco.com and type in cerave cream. For two 16 ox jars at around $22 until 4/24 I might have to get some myself. I love the FAB cream but it's beyond my buget now.

i have been patiently waiting for a tsv from them... i love it and use it all over my body everytime i get out of the shower... i looked on their website and there its 70.00 for the 14 oz... the price definetely went up bigtime... i was considering getting it for the 80.00 but thats nuts!!! i heard they are going to have a tsv, but god knows when... i guess when u consider its 70 on there site, the 80.00 is a great price for 2... but im patiently waiting for a tsv... i still have a tiny bit left....

It really bothers me that the hosts go on like nothing is different. Maybe Shawn can afford these prices but not me...I will go back to a much more reasonably priced product that works....THIS price increase is ridiculous. ..
