DO YOU HAVE FAVORITE DAY MOISTURIZER?

I've been trying different ones, and my face feels a little dry after applying foundation over it. I'm currently using Clinique C cream with an spf, and im not finding it very hydrating. I let the salesgirl talk me into it.

I'm also using SkinMedica spf 50 renewal cream, which has always been my favorite. But after foundation my skin looks dry and feels tight as the day goes on.

I LOVE Shiseido, so I may buy the Benefiance daycream..

Just like to hear your favorite hydrating day moisturizers?

My new favorite is Biossance spf 30, from Sephora. I also have very dry skin.

Sometimes I like to use a hydrating mist on top of my foundation for added moisture. This Dickinson's is the one I'm using now. It's very light and you don't feel it on. It's a mult-purpose mist...tone-set-refresh w/hydration. It has fragrance just so you know. Look around, there are other hydrating mists you can try also.

@Dazlin The Benefiance is a night cream for me. I don't always wear something in the day and if I do it has to be very light. I like Shiseido's serum and toner too at night.

And I am a big fan of Derma-E's vitamin C serum which is very light and doesn't make my face peel a lot. I can use it am or pm and with other products.

I begin my skincare routine with a mild glycolic pad (Nassif), hydrating facial mist, and hyaluronic acid serum before I do my other serums. I mist one more time and add a moisturizer concoction of a little CeraVe PM and a little Alpha Skincare 12% Glycolic Body Lotion. I've been really pleased with my system lately.

Here's another facial mist. This uses glycerin as the hydrating agent (Dickinson's uses hyaluronic acid). I like either one.

I have used Roc Retinol Deep Wrinkle daily moisturizer for years.It has SPF 30. I also use the same at night, but thei night cream doesn't contain sunscreen. Roc is one of the few brands that does not cause milia on my skin.

@SilleeMee , I actually have that in the toner, I believe you suggested it awhile back. I also use Heritage Rose facial mist with glycerin...its very nice...but I like a cream too.

Active Argan skin food day cream ..... very hydrating, and works great underneath the spf in this line ❤

Mix some of the Alpha lotion in with your regular moisturizer. You'll be pleasantly surprised with the results. I acutally use the alpha lotion straight out of the bottle on my moistened face, about a pea-size is all I use for my face and then another one for my neck/dec. Just keep it away from the eye area.

Did you know that Cerave makes a nice Hydrating Toner, I saw it on Ebay and Amazon.

@monicakm ...I had that cream a while back...and recently when I was searching for an spf I sampled the

water drench with the sunscreen in it, at Ulta. It felt so nice on my hand, but I let the salesgirl talk me into the The LaRoche spf instead...im not happy with it and I'm sorry I didn't go for the PTR. I'll use it on my hands and chest. I've replaced all my face sunscreens with SkinMedica spf 50, which I've always loved before. I think I need an additional moisturizer now, that's why I'm asking around. Maybe I need to cut back on the glycolic and retinols too...I was alternating nights. I also just bought The Ordinary. 05 retinol in squalene oil, for a break. The squalene feels very soothing, although oily...its just for some nights and on the back of my hands.

@Shelbelle I just discovered that recently when I saw it on a store shelf. I wish it had some green tea in the mix.

@SilleeMee , I'm using it on my chest and body, especially my hands. I didn't think it would be ok for face because it has petroletum and mineral oil in it...maybe clog my pores?? I use the Alpha glycolic serum on my face, alternate nights...maybe drying me out?? I do apply a rich night cream over it though. I've had oily skin when I was younger, then always been normal...just recently I feel dry. I drink PLENTY OF WATER TOO 🙂

Glycolic shouldn't dry out the skin...it's a humectant. I don't know what it could be that is causing the dryness. Maybe changing cleansers...??

@SilleeMee ...for night I'm using that glycolic cleanser you told me about, and I had a trial size of Clinique scrub cleanser I used in the morning. I finished it, and ill use a creamy cleanser from shiseido this week in morning, see how that goes...good thinking @SilleeMee , I didn't even consider my cleanser. I loved PTR glycolic cleanser but it's not available anymore...thats how we got talk about the one you suggested...I do like it at night, it's thorough and I don't feel dry afterwards, but I go right into my nightly regime of skincare.
