HSN TS Head Kandy Professional styling 32m tool...on sale for $79.00. Is it the same one on the the Head Kandy Pro web site on sale for $60.00. The web site also has a 45m same tool on sale for $60.00. Would you use a 32m or a 45m on long hair?

I think the one on the Head Kandy website is different. The one HSN is selling says exclusive to HSN. I see that the HSN one has infrared technology and I don't see that claim for the ones on the Head Kandy website. But for the $19.00 price difference, how much better is Infrared technology?

Usually the larger barrels work best for long hair. So I would say the 45mm would be the one to use for long hair.

Head Kandy's website says you cannot return their hair products. But if you buy one from HSN then it can be returned in accordance with HSN's return policy.

I was going to order but per the demonstrations, it does look like it's pulling on the hair quite a bit and did not seem to give much curl.

I'm watching the presentation now and the model with the white hair looks no different than the before picture of her. Hair looks the same to me. She keeps curling her hair but it does nothing.

I got the 45mm barrel when it was a TS a few years ago, so it's the older version not with the infrared technology. Not sure if there are other differences. My hair is just past my shoulders (sometimes more than "just"), fine and naturally wavy. Tends to frizz. I happen to love it but I know some didn't. I believe some of the negative reviews (I assume still available to read online) had to do with people burning their fingers touching the barrel (you're supposed to hold the handle and the tip while using) and some getting their hair tangled (maybe trying to put too much hair on it?). I've not had issues with either. I also don't use it on a high setting so maybe that is also a factor. I mostly got it to smooth my hair and give it some curl. Instead of blowdrying my hair I will sometimes let it air dry and finish with this tool and it works great for that -- for me anyway. Sometimes looks better than the blowdry. They said it volumizes and I might get a bit of volume but not very much and not particularly lasting. That's my experience.

Didn't seem to do much of anything when host Callie was using it either. Also was not impressed with the vendor (who is the creator also I believe) of this tool and the way she explained why it so different and special when asked by saying "um, infrared technology and uh, well, all that other stuff." Hmmm, seemed to me she was not able to delve further. I got the impression she didn't have a clue.
