I tried this on a whim and Wow! Already seeing reduction in marrionette lines, chest lines and jowls after two weeks. Just try it. Fast results and now my replacement for the much more expensive Lancome Renergie Lift.

I wondered about this when I saw it. Glad you're enjoying some great results. I'm really happy to be back using my favorite Skinn Pep 40 Creme Riche, was able to sign up for a duo of 1.7 oz. jars on unlimited auto delivery for $59 last summer. If I ever quit, the Neutrogena would be an option.

Believe it or not but the key ingredients are exfoliants...lactic and glycolic plus some glycerin and squalane. Not much in the way of "peptide" however...there's one kind listed in the upper deck.

It looks like a good moisturizer. The lactic acid works best on the surface whereas the glycolic works best below and on the surface, too. The GA is a very good plumper. I'll stick with my Alpha. At least i know how much GA is in that one.

There are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of products which contain isohexadecane. It's a very commonly used ingredient.

I understand it is common but I dont want any type of petro as the second ingredient in anything I use, my face deserves better!!! Common does not mean it is quality!!!

Most likely it's the glycolic acid which is helping smooth and firm your skin. The glycolic acid can penetrate the skin easily and when it does that it plumps your skin and boosts hydration so your skin appears smoother and feels firmer, too. You can try looking for a glycolic acid cream, something which contains about 10% glycolic. @Theresa1121

ETA-

I'm not dismissing the peptide contained in the product but there's so little of it in there that it makes me wonder just how effective it might be. If anything the peptide would add to providing hydration...peptides in general do that among other things. They hold water on the skin. Firming effects of most peptides usually takes months not weeks so I doubt it could be that which you are seeing.

Excellent reply from Sillie, just follow her advice, tons of glycolic creams out there.

I have become aware of lots of fancy names given to plain old pertro or mineral oil and now I am always on the lookout for them. When i now read ingredient decks they are definite red flags to me. Neurtogena is one brand that does this a lot, uses fancy names for petro and mineral oil, even in their Water moisturizer.
