Cleansing Balm

Never tried one but my cleanser is drying my skin out (Purity) and it burns my eyes and does not get my mascara off. So I tried HSN The Beauty Spy Seoul Cleansing Balm, and used it tonight and I LOVE IT. It removed every trace of waterproof mascara and left my skin very soft.

@rms1954 I stopped using Purity ages ago. It also dried my skin and burned my eyes. Most balms, when warmed in the hands, emulsify into an oil which does a great job cleansing and removing makeup, but the oil also removes sunscreen. Most other cleansers either leave a film or doesn't remove spf.

Glad to hear this, @rms1954. I've been a cleansing balm user for years, but just received my first order of the one from Seoul. I won't be opening it for awhile though.

This is what I use for cleansing when I have makup on too. Love it, and it doesn't irritate the eyes. I still use an oil cleanser for non-makeup days, but when I run out I'll change over to the Seoul CB for every day.

This was a really nice consistency. Not oily or greasy. It just melted in my hands. I'm really happy with just the first use. I wished I knew about it a long time ago. The other point I want to make is it's washes off nice with water and does not leave any residue or oily feel on the skin. It's just clean and soft.

What other brands did you use and like? Just curious because this one worked perfect for me and I have no reason to try others.

I put the e.l.f. cleansing balm in my cart at Walmart dot com. Will be picking it up this weekend. I've read lots of rave reviews about that balm so I'm excited to try it. I need more than just micellar water to remove my sunscreen. It's only $10!

@rms1954 I've been a longtime, consistent user of Banilla Co. Clean It Zero, the one in the pink jar.

I love this product and have been using it for awhile now...have it in the special 5.8oz size on AS.

Me, too! Well, I'm going to buy it this weekend while we are out & about. It's $10. Even if it's not a winner, I'm not out a lot of $$.

I tried Purity years ago and it smelled like gasoline to me, my skin didn't fare very well either! Sounds like I should try the ELF balm! I currently have been using The Clinique Take the Day Off with great results. I really like the one-and-done aspect of it, no double cleansing.

Love the ELF line for some many things! Their Hydrating Stick is great too!
