Elemis reviews ,why the discrepancy?

Why is the single,more expensive cream have rave reviews in the very high 4s (4.7 I believe) and the TSV duo so low? Are they formulated different to stretch the product out? Has anyone purchased both the single higher priced one,then tried the tsv and noticed that they are indeed different? Just curious at why there is such a gap in reviews. I find the reviews so very helpful as I’m deciding on a product . Qvc reviewers are great sources for info. Thank you for the responses IA.

I have used both - even ordered directly from Elemis - and do not see a difference in quality.

I have read many of the negative reviews and they seem to be - upset with alleged animal cruelty, customer service, and failure of the product to reduce lines and wrinkles.

At 71, I have been blessed with almost no lines or wrinkles (sagging yes, but that's another issue) Nor do I have large pores (another complaint that Elemis didn't reduce these.)

The problem I have is dry sensitive skin. And for this, Elemis has worked wonders - for me. No product works for everyone. I love my skin using Elemis, but I have no doubt that other products might work better for other people.

@PickyPicky3 Mostly I use the Marine cream. For the next TSV, I've ordered the ultra rich (haven't tried that). I also love the peptide plumping pillow facial. Also use their superfood masks and their dynamic resurfacing facial cleanser. If they made makeup, I'd try that too.

I haven't given up on the need for products, but for the last 2 years, I have relied for at least once every day on products already in my cabinets. That includes even a few past their best dates. In addition to those, I have added many drugstore brands along with treatments from Dr. Denise, PTR, and recently I ordered some Josie which I haven't yet opened.
