Can anyone recommend a moisturizing eye cream for sensitive eyes? I have dry eye (sometimes it acts up). Maybe something natural. The less ingredients the better.

@Janey2 Here is a fairly new eye cream with Maracuja in it from Tarte. Tarte offers a travel size for $19 so you can try it out and go read all about it. Maracuja oil is an excellent oil for many uses. I own this eye cream and love it. Does not dry out.

I like Mad Hippie and CeraVe but they have a large ingredient deck, Most of the time, eye creams and other moisturizer like to brag on the amount of active ingredients, so finding one with only a few ingredients will likely be difficult. What about a single oil, like jojoba oil or squalane oil?

I use argan oil all around my eyes - and all over my face and throat. Not JM.

I use a much less expensive brand that is organic and USDA certified.

@Janey2 If you have a Trader Joe's nearby go & get the eye cream. Trader Joe's Supreme Hydrating Eye Cream.

It is $5.99 for .53 oz & it is one of the nicest eye creams I have every used.

I will pay whatever I have to for a great eye cream, but luckily I don't have to pay much any more.

@Janey2 I have suffered from dry eyes for many years and my eyes are super sensitive.

I have been using 100% Pure Eye Cream for a long time now. It has worked out very well for me. The tube lasts forever as you only need a small amount. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. Also as I age I tend to get dryer skin around my eyes and it has helped with that too. (totally organic)

@ellaphant If under eyes or face feel dry during the day, a small amount can be tapped in the area to being extra moisture. I also use it, in winter, as a natural looking highlighter.

Just a word about oils and maybe @SilliMee can give her take, but oils can be occlusive causing clogged pores and hindered the absorption of other skin care to get through it IF it is applied first on the skin.

I've been reading about the increased use of oils on skin and the suggestion is to use it as a last step, if needed, to "seal in" other skincare. It should be applied before spf since it can interfere with its properties.

I've been using Kiehls avocado eye cream for the last few weeks---it is thick but it has helped the rough skin that is just atop the orbital bone. No transfer or watery eyes from it. it does well with makeup too.

Sometimes after hair washing or using mascara, my eyes get a little bloodshot. That's when I use something that works within a minute and no stinging: Lumify eye drops.

Walmart carries it. I keep a small bottle in my purse when I have to drive somewhere....the cold or heat blowing will dry out the eyes.

@Shanus , I'm glad to see you changed your mind about this. Not too long ago you started a thread claiming Josie Maran was giving out incorrect information because she talked about putting oils on as a last step. You said oils should always go on first. Many of us said we put oils on last to seal everything in.
