More Reds!

I am typically most comfortable wearing pinky nudes, mauves, plums, and some berry lipsticks but I'm really getting into reds lately. I've tried reds before and always felt self conscious. I don't know what's happened but I'm loving reds lately. I was at Walmart today and happened to end up in the makeup. I found vegan, leaping bunny sealed, Wet 'n' Wild lipsticks for 98 cents a tube! I bought three shades. They're creamy and feel smooth. Length of wear, I haven't tested that yet but I don't care if I have to reapply.

I'd love to be able to pull off a red lipstick.

My shadows and liners are wet n wild. Don't underestimate the quality.

I was looking for a darker red in my stash, and lo & behold, I really do not have any.

I never seem to come across W&W counters! Where are they hiding?

@Harpa Never at a makeup counter. They a budget brand at Walmart, some larger supermarket chains, maybe Target (nit sure), and some on Amazon.

I guess now would be a good time to do it. Our state still mandates masks and I have to wear one for my 12-hour shifts at the hospital.

No one will ever see my choice of red...

I love a good red on the lips. And at .98 a pop how can you go wrong? Love all three colors.

Those are really pretty! Years ago, these were my type of lip colors, but they just don't look that great on me any more. I have to go with a bit more subdued or natural. Enjoy! And you can't do better in the price!

I notice Jennifer Coffey has been showing up in red lips lately. Its a bit jarring, but they are her lips. Must be a new trend. All I know is I get reds in sample kits and they eventually end up in the trash. I'll stick with the nudes and mauves. Surprisingly I like myself in deep wines but I would never wear them in public.

I noticed that too. That red is not particularly flattering to her skin tone, in fact, I think it looks rather ghastly, but as you say, they're her lips.
