i've got the MAC and clinique set, in my cart so i won't forget it. I think qvc is having a mac tsv, in the near future too. i'll be interested to see that. I've never used MAC but it sounds good.

Nothing pointed toward the OP here---just about makeup in general. Why is so much of it something that looks like it was geared toward a 14-year-old? I honestly think they sell more on silly names and pretty colors than the product inside these days.

@monicakm - I think the Nurse Jamie products are very interesting. I only have one of her tools - the purple massage tool that's in this photo which I use daily in the a.m. for lymphatic drainage. I deal with allergies that cause puffy eyes and it does help me.

I roll under the eyes outward from inner to outer. I also use it on the sides of my neck downward from jaw to décolleté for lymphatic drainage. There are some good YouTube videos for different ways to use the tool. It helps relieve pain an tension caused by jaw clenching- roll at the side jaw bone just below the ear lobe

@monicakm - I bought my Nurse Jamie massage tool several years ago at HSN when it was a Today's Special. I see the tool alone is sold out, but there is a kit if you're interested. She also has her own website store

No worries @SoonerLater - I think advertising has quite an impact for beauty sales. Packaging does sell.

I typically buy what I think is effective and what I will use but sometimes I am drawn in by the packaging.

Too Faced has always used packaging and 'clever" names to bring attention to their products. Other brands do it too like Benefit, Soap & Glory, Colourpop
