I now wear very little makeup. I am 66 and I only wear a bit of lipstick and a bit ofblush and Mascara. I dab a bit of concealor on two spots. But, really my skin is good.

I do find that mascara is really a game changer and makes my eyes stand out so well from no mascara. I apply just a lid primer in beige and mascara.

Just wanted to say that I have tried every popular mascara, from cheap to expensive. The absolutely best mascara I've used is from Thrive Causemetics. Their "Liquid Lash Extensions" mascara is amazing. I have very sparse lashes and this is the only mascara that does the perfect combination of lengthening and thickening without clumps. And it doesn't wear off quickly like other mascaras do.

I just noticed that their website has free shipping today.

I'd love never having to wear (and remove) mascara again!

I really agree with you! I hardly ever wear makeup any more either. I am 69. This is such a change from just a couple years ago when I was still working, I never left the house without full makeup. Now, when I do wear at least mascara, lipstick and a bit of concealer, it makes such a difference!

My lashes are pretty good, so I can get away with no mascara at all. Just a quick curl with a very inexpensive lash curler.

In fact, I like the looks of a very understated eye look.

I just always go for balance, so for me, I need a bit of definition around my eyes, including brows.

If I really wanted to make a statement, I would do a gentle sweep on lashes. (Maybe for my next photo shoot!)

Thanks for taking the time to show and explain to me what's involved. Given my age, I'm seeking a natural/subtle look, with lashes a bit fuller and longer at the outer corners of my eyes, and tapering towards shorter lashes near the inner corners. I'll happily try your suggestions, as I'm truly done with mascara!
