Wow, so glad I stumbled on this thread, thanks @monicakm. I too suffer from excessive sweating, particularly from the hair/head. I have been to several doctors and they have found nothing that would cause it, the only doctor I have yet to see is the dermatologist. It is not hot flashes, which people often assume.

Like @decaf and @blueroses47 my problem is sweating from the head, which is why I am having problems maintaining any hairstyle or makeup. When people see me sweating, they ask if I am OK. As someone else mentioned, it is not a big deal when men sweat, but for us women, it's a real problem.

@decaf Like you, we believed that the problem (which started less than 3 years ago) was associated with a medication I was taking. But after I stopped the medication, the head sweating remained. It is hard to maintain a hair style, which is why I wear a a lot of ponytails, and one of the reasons I decided to let hair color grow out last year. I am 59 with salt and pepper hair. The sweating drips down my body. My hands get sweaty too. There are towelettes that help keep body parts from sweating (Sweatblock), but it's not for the hair, and I don't feel comfortable putting it on my face, since most of the sweating comes from the hair, and it does feel like antiperspirant. Not sure it could take make-up or sunscreen, assuming I would apply first, and what it would do to my skin. Haven't tried.

I tried a prescription medicine to counteract the sweating but it caused me to stop #1 and #2, and I had terrible abdominal cramps, so I stopped that second medicine fast.

I will try these drops. Would love to stay in touch on this subject, which is so distressing. I placed an order for Dynamic Nutritional Assocs. D82 with Naturally Botanicals. The bottle had one small difference, a hyphen between the D and the 82. Hope it's the right product and that it helps!!!! It was $21, free shipping.

Thanks @monicakm and everyone else for sharing your stories.

For those that were interested...I started them last Thursday. Last Saturday I had NO sweating and I definitely would have with the day's activities. Sunday-Tues I did sweat. Today, NO sweating! Ceiling fans on low I'm taking a medication now tho that does cause sweating so it might not be as affective. But I just read on the bottle that I can take more if needed so I have. Praying that this will be what it takes to keep me from being a drippy, uncomfortable mess
