topic If you don't like the "shimmer" in LG's eye shadows in Beauty

I was reading some of the comments on the new Fall into Baked Collection on this board and on the item's customer reviews. I did not buy this collection, but the eye shadow looked beautiful in the presentation. Some have commented how gorgeous it is and others complained that it is too glittery. I have many of LG's eye shadows. Most have shimmer which I actually prefer over matte (always have), and I'm 61 and they still look good on me. But to each her own, and if you prefer matte there is an option if you get a kit like this that you like everything but a shimmery eye shadow. You can take something like her shimmer down powder or any loose face powder and apply a light coat over the eye shadow. It will only slightly change the color (if not put on too heavily) and will take away some of the shine. Just an option to try if you want to tone down a shimmery shadow.
