A little upset about Trish McEvoy order, HSN oversold items

Yesterday at 1:30pm eastern time a placed two orders, one for the TM smokey quartz planner which was on extended delivery (delivery date 29 Aug) despite the fact that the item hadn't even aired yet and a second order for the TM brush set. The brush set was in stock at the time of my order and did not sellout until the 11pm show with Shannon Smith (10 hours after I purchased them). Anyway, I got a phone call today at 10am (robo-call) that the brush set had been oversold and I may or may not get them and if I was to get them it wouldn't be until 30 Aug, WHAT! Shouldn't the last orders placed (the people who purchased during the 11pm show) be the ones who's orders shouldn't be filled? I'm a bit upset but maybe it's a sign that I really shouldn't have ordered anyway, it isn't as if I need any of it. I will wait until the end of the day to decide if I'm going to cancel both orders. Thanks for letting me vent.
