Calling Shanus 7/5/21

TOTALLY can't believe my eyeliner from Bobbi Brown which I loved is nowhere to be found! I kept all of my eye makeup together at the beach, got back with the eyeliner brush!

None at all on the BB site! Found one on amazon. Grrrrrrr.........

Mess with anything-just not my makeup!!!!

Didn't you recently mention another gel liner that you loved-I've been trying to recall the name of it?

I use the Bobbi Brown gell eyeliner. The glass jar is a little smaller than a 25 cent piece.

I was always so careful with that little booger too!

Back to the pencil for a week!

@ECBG The gel liner in the pot is still available on the BB site in a choice of shades. Did you check there? I think Nordstrom has it, too.

Thank you. I ordered it from Amazon hoping for fast delivery but it's apparently from a vendor.

@ECBG BB is now available at Ulta, right now they are offering the items to Platinum level customers but it will be available to all soon. Her gel eyeliner is available there also.

Q sells these eyeliner pencils $2.00 less than the LG site, but doesn't have the blackbird.

I prefer the ease of allowing the BB gel eyeliner on the tops of my lids.

I get a softer look with the L G Inkcredible liner on the bottom.

I found that after a certain age, eyeliner needs to be extremely thin, almost invisible. Once you can actually see a line like BB's pot liner, it closes up the eye where all you see is a dark line on the lid and under the eye... I stopped using it after I saw myself in a photo.

That happened to me, too, except I forgot to pack it for vacation.

So I had to go without and when I started looking at all the pics, I liked the softer, younger look, better, not having my lower lashes lined and never went back!

I do line my upper lashline only when I want to look *glamorous*, but usually just do shadow (sometimes) and mascara.

I agree. If the liner is thick and especially on the lower lasheline, if your line *dips* too low and isn't as precise as the other eye, it almost looks like your lower lids are drooping....or your eyes don't match.

@Trinity11 I agree, but since it's waterproof and you can use a fine brush, it's easy to use between the top lashes. It defines your eyes without lining on the lid. The plus is your lashes look thick before the mascara.

Been there done that @Shanus . I purchased the Bobbi Brown brush and still it looked drawn on. I had a steady hand back then, too. I tried tightlining too. I ended up with a costly trip to the ophthalmologist.

The rare time I do line my eyes I use a pencil. Personally, I prefer to emphasize the color of my eyes avoiding much more than mascara. Photos come out more natural too.
