I didn't worry about it then because it was little. But now a week later it's turned into a larger cyst-like pimple. And it's been joined by another, larger, cyst-like pimple. Both are red, swollen, and sore. </P> <P>Usually a little salicylic acid cream or toner will clear these right up for me. But nothing seems to be working for me on these monster zits. I began using Benzoyl Peroxide on the spots a few days ago, and still they don't seem to be responding. I also tried the proactiv sulfur mask on the spots for a few days...and that hasn't helped either. <img id="smileysad" class="emoticon emoticon-smileysad" src="https://community.qvc.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.png" alt="Smiley Sad" title="Smiley Sad" /></P> <P>I've dealt with acne on my face for years and have been able to effectively manage and prevent it. But none of my normal fixes seem to be working on this latest bought of chest acne. </P> <P>I will go to my dermatologist and have them injected if they're still not responding to OTC treatment by the end of the week. I hate to do that though...</P> <P>Anyway, I'm looking for any advice or recommendations you may have regarding this problem. I'm also interested in finding a way to prevent this from happening again. I worry because this happened to me years ago, and I have an ugly keloid scar in a spot where I couldn't get an giant zit to heal when I was a teen. </P> <P>Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
